I was thinking of having mikes pic framed with my Newcastle poster but
Im not sure if I would be game to leave it with the framer.....
I might just frame it with my ticket myself...
My 2003 tour ticket has really faded, apparently u cant laminate them or they go black...it sucks how they cross then with a marking pen tho...:(
Your poster looks awesome btw...:)0 -

I just got them all in the mail. Maybe it is because it is change, but my wife and I both like the Artist on these alot better than Ames or Klausen. Funny how 4 Ames poster still are for sale in Goods section!! been days or almost week for 2 of them and still not sold out.
Can't wait until I get these Australia framed.0 -

Very nice, I was thinking of a black frame with white and blue matting, but the natural look is great!Auck - Feb 28, 98

I was going to get a mat but the framer reckoned it didnt need it cos it kinda has its own border....Yeah the frame kinda goes with the beach theme, plus it matches other frames I have hanging. Black frames look nice and simple and match any poster, u couldnt go wrong with that.0 -
Thanks for all the positive feed back!!
now i just have to figure out where i wanna hang it so it gets maximum viewing exposure!http://www.expressobeans.com/trader.php?id=whistle55&view=4

Brushdaily wrote:I think that looks awesome but maybe it's looks so good because the blue in the poster matches the paint on the wall. If that was hung on a white wall I don't know that it would look as great as it does. I don't really know what my point is. It looks really nice though.
Yeah I know what u mean the poster was made for my wall...
This tour I wanted a poster that I could hang that would look ok...
I still have my Melb 2003 in the tube cos I just coundnt imagine it hanging on the wall here....
When I saw the Newcastle poster at the show I nearly had an orgasm...:p
All my prayers had been answered....
Just gotta get my others framed now....0 -

Brushdaily wrote:I'm going to need to get some things framed here pretty soon. I'll drop you a pm when I'm ready. But how do the matte and frame color decisions get made by people in differant locations? And am I the only one who doesn't like the ticket framed with the poster? I'm not trying to offend anyone it's just not for me.
I prefer to keep the ticket somewhere else... like a shadowbox with a picture of the show. I think the posters look cleaner without the ticket...
about the mat and frame issue... If you prefer you can go to your framer and get a quote from him. Just make sure to get the mat numbers, which I can match, and the frame manufacture. If I can’t match the frame exactly I can find a compromise as long as you don’t pick a really unique frame. Some one just sent me their Nick Cave EMEK that I am working on. I sent him design choices with pictures and he picked the one he preferred.

Love the Newcastle and Rome ones...
Especially the Newcastle one, wishing I had ordered that now...
Good idea framing the ticket with a picture, I might do that with my Newcastle ticket and Mike's pic from that show.....:)0 -
