I may fly to Carolina just to see that U2/Muse show... that's one incredible stadium pairing. When's this album due?

Sounds awesome. I can't wait to pick it up.

Hopefully they tour arenas or something. They're a great big crowd act and I don't understand how they sell out stadiums in Europe but probably couldn't even play an arena in the average market here in the US.

I hate country music and what it has done to this country.

Maybe I'm selfish, I don't mind if they keep playing smaller joints. They are without a doubt my 2nd favorite live act. I just wish they weren't touring with U2 now, but I think they'll be back in 2010...hopefully I can hit 2-4 shows.

why would you not want them to tour with U2? Muse is a stadium band and they are playing stadiums. This is going to be awesome! The exposure that they will receive from the U2 tour is better than any advertising campaign

    1) Limited cities
    2) Only 45 minute shows (i'm guessing here)
    3) High prices for good seats

I wish they were touring by themselves and hitting more of the US this fall instead of waiting till next year or later, that's what I mean. If the exposure pays off by having them spend more time in the States in the future...great.

    1) ok I get that point
    2) they'll get an hour..thats what snow patrol got
    3) I paid $55 for floor seats...cant get much cheaper than that for 2 of the biggest bands on the planet

    3) But you can get cheaper than that for a 1.75 hour Muse show ;) ...that's my point. No too mention the travel costs since they are playing no where near me...if only they opened every date.

Uprising starts off sounding like Gary Numan playing the Dr.Who theme tune, then morphs into a Marilyn Manson song before vaguely ending up sounding like a Muse song!

To blow them off the stage... and they most probably will, seen both live and Muse will be an impossible act to follow, even for U2... ;)
