will 10c be offering reserved seating??
im a 10c member and kinda disheartened at the GA thing. stuff that... getting thrown around ... losing your spot after going to the toilet... who thinks it will be better just skipping the presale and buying reserved seating??? is this risky? ... or will (hopefully) 10c have reserved seating for us 10clubbers too .....
i sure hope all this gets cleared up pretty soon

Assuming you're talking about the Aussie/NZ tour, let me remind you that these are stadiums.luke. wrote:im a 10c member and kinda disheartened at the GA thing. stuff that... getting thrown around ... losing your spot after going to the toilet... who thinks it will be better just skipping the presale and buying reserved seating??? is this risky? ... or will (hopefully) 10c have reserved seating for us 10clubbers too .....

Reserved seating at stadium gigs, on the side and in the back... be prepared to bring binoculars.115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!0 -
I was a bit apprehensive at first but as I've only seen PJ with seating - I think it would be awesome to see them in GA too. Chance to move around and get rowdy!0

Last show I was at there was a marrige proposal and some down right free loving to follow at the Perth Subiaco show. You want to sit down and miss that kind of stuff going down be my guest. I'll be the one partying down the front to the greatest lyricist and band in the history of mankind. 8-)0

Of all the bands i have seen over the years i can only recall sitting on the last Rush concert tour in Newcastle Upon Tyne and to be honest i didn't like it at all (not the concert - the seating!)... I have always stood at concert venues - the atmosphere is just sooooo much better somehow - and the PJ gig in Manchester 2 weeks tomorrow will not be any different.0

to me the seat isnt something to sit on it keeps your spot and personal space in tact. no need to be smart...
Quite agree - no one sits, but its nice to have a tiny piece of real estate that is legally yours for the show. I wish people wouldn't be obtuse and just talk about 'who sits' because that's not the point.R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.

I find it funny that everyone complained when they had seating everywhere, now everyone is complaining cuz of the GA0

Seems like pj fans complain about anything and everything. It doesn't matter what 10c does (and they do MANY GREAT things). People will still complain. The band could play a private performance in someone's living room and let that lucky indivisual pick the setlist, and there would still be complaining.drop-the-leash wrote:I find it funny that everyone complained when they had seating everywhere, now everyone is complaining cuz of the GA
GA or seats, just enjoy the shows people. I mean I like to stand and sit at shows too. I often do both. Do what you want, just enjoy the music and overall experience of seeing pj live.PJ: 10/14/00 06/09/03 10/4/09 11/15/13 11/16/13 10/08/14

2012 - MIA Festival 9/2

I thought I saw every idiotic complaint possible here... including my own, but this takes the cake. I'd kill for general admission gigs again...0

I'll take reserved seats over GA anyday. Granted the seat won't be sat in, but I like having my guaranteed space. Having to fight to keep your spot from those that believe it is okay to push their way to the front detracts from the show in my opinion.
Also if nature calls, I won't lose my spot.
If there were no Angels would there be no sin?0 -
I'd be happy to just to hang upide down from the ceiling if they'd just add a Portland date!

But yeah, the "reserved seat personal space thing" is nice too."Hello Oregonians. Hello Washingtonians. Hello Portland..where the fuck are we? We're in Ridgefield!"0 -

I really hope there is reserved seating available, cause I can only imagine the whining that will go on after the show if some people have to be so inconvenienced by
 GA.
You don't have a spot at a GA show, so complaining about losing it makes no sense. It IS ok to push to the front.
If you don't like it, stay off the floor or stand far enough back that people leave you alone...but don't try to go to the front of a 10,000 person mosh pit and then cry that people are invading your space... It's a fucking rock concert...do you really expect to set up a blankie and picnic like you're at some local folk fest?0 -
seats are nice that way you don't have to stand for 4 hoursShows:

I believe I only stated that I prefer reserved seating and gave my reasons why. For the Kings Of Leon show at the Spectrum I had the opportunity for GA tickets, but decided to take good reserved seats.
You want to have a mosh pit and be able to push yourself up to the front with no respect for others, go for it! While we're at it let's hire the Hell's Angels for security too! They got some great references from the Rolling Stones....
Curious, since when does going to a rock concert give anyone the right to act like an idiot? By all means dance around, sing out loud and have fun, but don't ruin it for others. If there were no Angels would there be no sin?0 -
Those of us already in the front and centre reserve the right to kick the nuts of people who plough into our backs expecting to get to the front through us.Jeff Murray wrote:Drowned Out wrote:Jeff Murray wrote:I'll take reserved seats over GA anyday. I agree...though I do admit that sometimes I sit during the encore break because I actually really do need to rest by that point.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea.
