    LOL!!! I'll get to work on that chili recipe...I'll need it for tailgating before the Eagles/Giants game too!!

    Should have group pricing on Monday--if it's not better than individual pricing, i can still book rooms for everyone :-)

    Does anyone know if JC Dobbs is still open? I thought it reopened or something but I just tried reaching out to them for a donation of a raffle ticket prize as I thought it would be a neat item since they relate to Philly and PJ so much and the webpage doesn't work and the e-mail came back to me undeliverable. For all you know it all center city folks..Please advise! Thanx

    Dont mean to be picky and this isnt geared towards anyone in particular but..could we please keep this on topic. Please start another thread for toher topics relating to the Philly shows. This thread is for the Philadelphia pre-parties and pre-party updates. Unfortunately when you add other topics to the mix we'll have pages of people replying and side conversations taking away from what this thread is about. Thanks for understanding

    I was just thinking recently that you don't see many requests for the troops anymore, and I was thinking, we're still at war, nothing has changed, these people are still over there and they need stuff

    count me in for some donations for that as well. I'll bring them along with my other donations.

    I love that PJ fans do this stuff, it just makes us that much cooler 8-)

    and makes looking forward to the shows that much more special.

    Believe it or not, the biggest troop request right now that at least I am seeing is Egg Crate mattress foam thingies. Many of the Troops over in Afghanistan aren't sleeping in comfortable quarters and the egg crates are a bit easier to roll up and carry I believe.
    For those who are interested in more- See page one and the original post- we will be giving raffle tickets to fans who bring Troop supplies as well as buying raffle tickets.

    sorry, as usual- i rush my posts and confuse rather than be articulate. the egg crate foam things you put under your sheets but on top of your mattress. They are usually at Target (plug there since they are doing Backspacer!) in the bedding department. here's a visual example:
