    PEARL JAM will apparently be adding 2 more concerts at the legendary Spectrum on 10/27 and 10/31 !!!

    They will be the last concerts ever played at the beloved and historic showplace of America !!!

    So, Pearl Jam’s mini-tour of 9 dates which originally ended with 2 concerts on 10/28 & 10/30 at the Spectrum will now be increased to an 11 date mini-tour with the last 4 concerts taking place at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, PA before the venue is demolished to make way for an entertainment complex.

    Pearl Jam will play on 10/27, 10/28, 10/30 and 10/31 !!!

    If this rumour is correct!

    The 10/28 and 10/30 concerts SOLD OUT in minutes !!!

    Ticket on sale date and times will be announced shortly !!!

    I am heading to Maine tommorrow and will be spending my entire vacation wondering if Philly 3 tix will go on sale while I am away from my PC. Is it possble to order tickets via blackberry? Even if possible, no way I'd be as quick as I would be had I been at my office on a fast network.

    Indeed, but I am feeling optimistic. Our tech guy is in the office upgrading our internet connection right now, so maybe I won't get completely shut out when the sale happens. Of course there are other factors at play as well...

    Now that the Springsteen shows have been sold out (mostly), I'd bet we get an announcement about the other Pearl Jam show(s) Wednesday, with a public sale Friday.

    You might be right about Australia/NZ/West, but I don't think the NBA schedule is a factor -- It's not uncommon for there to be two or even three big events at the Philly sports complex at once.

    Not for Philly, but for the other shows to fill in the gaps. You can't play outdoor shows in many venues in mid to late October.

    I'm sure promoters can get their hands on sporting event schedules before they are released to the public.

    one other thing I thought of is maybe they are trying to do the paperless ticketing that Bruce did today for the additional shows. I can see PJ getting behind something like that, especially with a show that will be in such high demand.

    I'm not sure it's necessary, since most/all of the great seats will be 10-C, which distributes them in a similar manner.

    my friends that are not exactly "in the know", so to speak, keep saying "my friday tix say venue finale" on them... i keep telling them it will not be the last show

    it seems like false advertising at this point... i know a few people that are pumped to be going to the "final" show at the spectrum.. and they are going to be heartbroken when they have to drop $200 more for the real last show

    it is printed on the 10/30 ticket though that it is the last show :lol:

    If that's true, that was really dumb and unnecessary on The Spectrum's part. That show would have sold out no matter how they billed it.

    I agree, outside of events booked months ago, if PJ is playing arenas through Sept/Oct- they may have to wait for the NBA schedule. But most areans probaly have it by now, if the public anouncment is next week. Most places proably have to block any reservations until the NHL/NBA schedules are done to know what dates are going to be available. This won't effect the spectrum, but other palces in the country it may.
