I'm actually wondering if the floor itself is smaller than the Astoria's was.My Pearl Jam Photos

Wish I hadn't seen this now... It's gonna be so good for those of you that got tickets"We get these pills to swallow... how they stick in your throat... Tastes like gold..."0 -
Yes there are defo 3 balconys, I was one "Level 1" for Chris Cornell this year. So it still begs the question, where were the level 1 tickets sold?0

One of the pictures posted lists Level 1 as "VIP & Guest Area". Could well be quite a few freebies floating around for this if you mix in the right circles. Which I don't :(If I knew where it was, I would take you there...0 -

There were a lot of 'industry' people (including other musicians and celebs) at the Astoria - this will be the same.0 -
Usually you can definitely buy Level 1 tickets but it often sells out first and I'm pretty sure it's because a lot of tickets for that level go to the industry.
Level 1 is actually really cool, it's probably the best view of the stage from there.1992 - London ULU

Aww, I'm really sorry to hear that. Hopefully something will work out. Remember there were 50 tix on the door at the Astoria.
I know, i probably will head down anyway...rick always seems to have luck in the queues, I might try his tact!!!
Has anyone ever bought a ticket from a tout outside the venue on the day and got in to the concert with it ok? I am severely tempted but scared I'll spend the money and won't get in if the ticket is fake.
Advice welcome! After missing out on the Astoria, 10c lottery, HMV pre-sale and now HMV general sale I am desperate! And he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
Robert Plant and his son Logan were definitely, because I saw them go in. Not sure about the others but it sounds likely.1992 - London ULU

I never heard that Townshend was there, as much as I was hoping for him to guest on something, anything!!
Kelly Jones was there and so was Plant and son.
As for buying from touts, there were loads of stolen tickets being sold outside the Astoria. There was a list of the ticket numbers and those tickets were not allowed entry. So BE CAREFUL!!My Pearl Jam Photos

I only saw Robert Plant at the Astoria from my naked eye but could not see any one else apart from that funny Scottish guy lifting his Kilt. Don't over pay for a ticket. Go to the venue on the day, there will be tickets released at show time. If Astoria got 50, then there might be close to 100 for this one. Shepherd Bush isn't that small.0 -

I've done that a few times, back in the days before Ebay scumbags when that was how touts operated. What a halcyon, sepia-tinted world that seems now... at least the bloodsuckers had to make SOME effort in order to make their profits in those days. Never had a problem personally, but as has been said elsewhere people who paid lots of money for Astoria tickets in 2006 were turned away because the tickets were stolen. At least outside the venue you can compare the ticket you're offered to someone else's legit one. Wouldn't have helped with the Astoria situation, I don't think, but should help you avoid buying a fake.If I knew where it was, I would take you there...0 -

I spoke to Kelly Jones afterwards at the royal george pub. Apparently he's a fan.
That was hilarious! I remember Fraser and Neil were doing that to the cab's in the queue aswell.2006 ░▒▓ Astoria, Dublin, Leeds, Reading, Lisbon, Paris, Verona, Athens

The touts outside the Astoria were selling them for insane amounts, and then people got turned away. One guy actually got into a fight with a tout that sold him a dud ticket. Personally I don't think I'd chance it. I've never bought a ticket over face value because I hate touting so much, but if I were desperate I'd probably go to Getmein, just because they are owned by Ticketmaster and if anything goes wrong at least you'd get a refund.1992 - London ULU
