Several weeks ago I was listening to some PJ while driving to work...Hail, Hail comes on and it sounds great. Too great apparently because suddenly there are flashing lights behind me. I look down and I'm hitting the 80mph mark in a 65mph zone. Now, I'm usually a speeder but not the 80 mph kind, especially when driving to the hell hole that is my job. So the cop pulls me over, sees my stethescope around my neck & combined with the fact its early morning he gives me a HARSH warning and lets me go...thankfully. So today I'm driving to a friends...same senario. Hail, Hail comes on, the sun is shining, theres a 6 pack of yuengling in my cooler, I'm going to bake by the pool, life is GOOD. Flashing lights...78 mph. Ticket.

So, just wondering. Anyone else have a PJ song that seems to be out to get them a ticket?

Once I got a ticket going from NYC to Binghamton. Got nailed doing 87 in a 55. Thirty-two miles over.

There was no way I was driving all the way up there for a court appearance.
I looked up a local auto attorney and had him handle it.

Reduced in court with the lawyer to "parking on a sidewalk".

    ...best $500 I've ever spent.

    :D

A few years back I got pulled over for speeding (72ish in a 55) listening to RVM. Cop asked me why I was in such a hurry and I told him I wasnt in a hurry and I just got a little carried away to a song that was on the radio. He then asked me what song, and I said he had probably never heard of it but it was by Pearl Jam. He then said, "trust me, Ive heard every song by PJ" and gave me a warning!! To this day... Anytime I need a ride cause Ive had too much to drink Ill call him and he will give me a police escort back to my house. Thanks Officer Rodriguez!!!!

I'm a speeder! 8-) When driving my car or the company van @ work, it's Rock N' Roll Baby where ever I go. It's fun moving a few hundred sq of marble/granite @ the back seat listening to Leash, heading to a new sub division. Don't get much cop's to pull me on the side; must be cause I know a few of them! ;)

Kinda hope someday Pearl Jam releases some vintage 8-track tapes of their records. Cause I'm so looking to buy a classic Trans Am with a killer 8-track tape deck with bombastic speakers all around! :P

I can't drive 55 either. 75-80 is about the average speed I drive on the hwy. Been out of NY for a few years now, its great to have some open roads. The drive up to the mountains in Colorado  is where I really put the pedal to the metal. 80-85 always gets a little adrenaline going, that & of course listening to PJ ;) !
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)

I have a speeding addiction. I've always had a hard time going the speed limit. I've never thought to try and corololate it to the music i'm listening too. I'll try and and pay attention next time.. lol.

I can't buy Yuengling in Ohio so I stopped at a Sheetz station in West Virginia on the way home from the Baltimore EV show. Loaded up the back of my Vibe with 4 cases...should last me until i head to Chicago in August! :D

Why isn't Y available there? It's cheap as dirt here.
Seems like an ok budget beer.

Are you blaming the song or just bad schooling? :D

I was told that there isn't an Ohio Yuengling distributor so it isn't sold here. It's not my favorite beer but its my favorite mass produced domestic for sure. It makes me think of summer vacation, lying on a NC beach, cold beer in hand and not being in a hurry....Ahhhhhh.
