    My Pearl Jam vinyl arrived at last yesterday, it's in great condition. I was a little worried with people saying they arrived with bent corners etc. Maybe I'm not as fussy as some (I thought I was!) but mine seems good. The only problem is the booklet is so big and fat I don't want to keep it in the sleeve because it is too bulgy... what to do?

    P.S. Anyone ordering the Life Wasted 7"?

    Can a kiwi please give me the latest update?? Auckland??? On the pearl jam tour book is says NZ but still no word. what up with the new arena??

    well it's not looking good. yes we were on the tour brochure. but recently we hear that vector arena was sufferening yet more delays. was supposed to be done by late august. well PJ managment must have got wind of it and decided to cancel thier accomodation.

    i recieved my PJ vinyl also, with slightly bent corners (2)... but no worries. am keeping the bookletr with it, as i believe it belongs as a complete package. and i'm going to love it forever.

    I'm in a mixed position on this possible Auckland show. On the first hand, i really want them to come, cause I want to see them so bad, but on the other hand, I live in Wellington and I'm already having to pay to travel up to and stay in Auckland for the U2 shows in November, so I really can't afford another one. However, if it does happen there is no way I could miss it, so I would go even though I don't have enough money for it. So I'm either going to be poor and happy, or in a sound financial situation and gutted. Either way it's both good and crap. I guess I'll let fate decide.

    I'd like to see how bent your corners are. Maybe mine are bent too. One of them was almost bent, but nothing bad. Pretty good considering how far it came and how little care it would have gotten :D I keep mine with the sleeve, but not inside the sleeve. It's far too fat!

    they look like they've been nudged a little, but i'm appy, as you say with how far its travelled... i'll try and take aphoto for you

    hey been watching this thread develop for awhile now... and am so dissapointed one of my all time fav bands are flagging NZ again.. I was going to go see them in 1998 with my bro but didn't have much cash and had a school exam on the same day.. what a regret as its 8 years and waiting to see em... fuck it.. hopefully one day...

    Anyone semi-excited about the new Datsuns album? Stuck Here for days is a brilliant song. Theses guys are truely the saviours of NZ rock.

    I went and saw the Datsuns earlier this year in Napier with the D4. Both were brilliant.

    Just thought id make you guys jealous...im now a proud owner of VH1 Storytellers from this year on DVD, as well as all their TV appearances on Letterman, MTV etc all from a bloody great guy on trademe who is selling all his PJ stuff on there (think the mrs is making him do it).
    Its been 8 years, but I still believe...PJ in NZ 06!

    Ever since I got a job, and stopped making every second post I think...Brendon should be posting more pictures of him and his new electric, and posting his new songs and covers.

    Not to burst your bubble, but you really shouldn't have to pay for that stuff. Anybody that makes you pay for it should be shot. For a while I tried to report all those auctions (there's someone selling many PJ live DVDs too) but they didn't really do much about it.

    Anyway, it's cool, I just hope you didn't pay too much for them.
