Do they usually have a varm up gig before the tour? If thats gonna happen,is that a gig mainly for us Ten Club members?
Not often and certainly not predictably. Last time it happened in Europe was the Astoria show in 06. 10c did a giveaway with 50 pairs of tickets and a few went on sale on ticketmaster (but they seemed to be golddust in general sales). Although that gig was primarily a promo gig for the media so there were a lot of tickets given to magazines etc. so that must have made a big impact on the number of tickets they could sell to the fans. The Vic show in Chicago seemed to be much more geared towards the fans though (although I didn't look much into it).

In short: It might happen, but there'll probably be one warm up gig in Europe if one does happen. So no telling where it would be, and tickets definitely won't be easy to come by. But it's worth it for the few who get through

In North America - the phrase "across the pond" exclusively means either going to or coming from Britain. E.g. the CEO of my health authority just announced he is resigning and moving "across the pond" to Wales to manage a health authority there... ;)

Nah, they always have it so the deadline for membership is before the announcement. Otherwise loads of people would sign up immediately after the announcement.

What I don't get is why PJ would play europe 3 times in one tour, especially since the new album is only round the corner! Is it a hint that they won't be back til towards the end of the next tour so figure they'll play Europe while they have the time?! :?: I hope I'm reading too much into this. :D

This announcement may very well be some pearl jam & ed shows both.
It's not out of the question.Kill 2 birds with one stone(no pun intended) :D
That way it's more cost effective for ed to play some solo shows overseas.
I guess we will SEA! ;)
