nice.looks like no code is in the lead.
i assumed that yield would be chosen more just from a lot of previous readings

    YIELD.

im sure this has been discussed but im starting to lean towards no code.
personally think they could have been a double disc cause i get the same feel listening to both albums..
really splitting hairs here but thats what this board is for right?
No Code! Yield is OK but No Code is better :)
    In addition, I hate Wishlist.

    No Code hands down.

I love Yield, but No Code is just a step above.
Take me for a ride before we leave...
  • YIELD!!!if you listen front to back..full on band effort!!!!!!!!
Nocode is a Vedder solo album...could be a vitalogy extension....

Just checking in as a member of Team Yield. FFS, we have our own Yield Night!

No Code is my second favorite though. But Yield is just too special for me, will always be at the top.

P.S. Wishlist is better than Dissident and Bugs or any of the oddities on Vitalogy. ;)

yield. the real trouble is when you ask yield or binaural
well said. Yield and Binaural are so great it's hard to pick one of those two. I give Yield a sleight nod over Binaural and an easy victory over No Code.

Yea I don't think it's a Vedder solo album at all. In fact I think it's Eddie letting go and letting the others join in. No Code was them warming up to this new style, and Yield was them mastering it.

Dissident has enough material in its one line of lyrics to make a full-length movie. Wishlist sounds like a first-grader song that might have been written on a recorder by...well...a first grader :)
Also trash talking about anything Vitalogy will burn you in hell forever :D

No Code. It's just so diverse, and it was so fresh after the first 3 albums that it really shines. I really love the slightly country feel to Hail, Hail, Red Mosquito, the hard rocking of Lukin and Habit, the bluesy Smile, and the tender moments like Around the Bend. It's just so well rounded, like a nice firm breast, y'know?
    Thanks EPOTTSIII!

Wishlist does not compare to Dissident.
