The guy is from NJ, doesn't know his way around, is probably nervous so he calls 45 min late, has no idea the crane fell there probably, etc, etc...
You are a little hard on people, don't you think?
You didn't even give the dude a chance.
    Ok, Mom :p
    j/k

he wasn't nervous, he spoke to me 2hrs the night before. With no plan.
He knew NY and he knew about the crane collapse. He told me the wrong address, Trixie.

    no, people can be asexual:

I'm still trying to figure out if this is me.

edit: let me phrase. obviously people do not reproduce asexually, what I am saying is that there is a sexual orientation called asexual.

    oh man, that's rough.

Believe me, if I were your mom you would have given the guy a chance.
You are from nyc and he is from Jersey. Why couldn't you have chosen a place?

Its not like he's never been to NY, Trixie. It's like what Joe said. He should have had a plan already in place. It was the way it was communicated, or the failure to do so. He sounded stupid.

    I'm saying.
I 'gave it a chance' but then after how it went down yesterday, I was just like oh no.
I mean it's all about the person's perception, no one here heard the conversation

Yeah...I think people show you who they are very early on in a relationship...he doesn't sound like a bad guy, but if this is who he is...and it doesn't fit with who you are...it's likely to get on your nerves down the line. It's better to notice it early on. Not to say we shouldn't 'give people a chance' or rule them out too quickly...but no use in trying to force something that's just not a good fit. I'm a planner. I plan everything. A last-minute kind of person just wouldn't be right for me.
