    I second this!
A pessimist is a man who thinks all women are bad. An optimist is one who hopes they are.

lol..some of you are actually including Saving Private Ryan. That movie had a happy ending...Private Ryan makes it back to the states to see his mommy, and to raise daughters with big boobies.

If you think war movies are sad, here's a sad scene from an xlnt war movie:

YES!! It gets you in the gut how close we came to a world with a strong middle class and a stable economy and without a war in iraq, no torture or spying, and no unecissary fear.

    truly heartbreaking

I'm going to add Killing Fields and Little Miss Sunshine

Watched Dan In Real Life last night. Had a happy ending, but 95% of it was real sad. Great movie though.

I just saw Into the Wild..

It was so depressing I don't want to see it again because it will ruin the soundtrack for me.

It was moving... thats for sure. It was one of those movies that it takes you a few hours to shake off...

That said, I re-watched it and tried to focus on the beauty of Chris' journey. That made it ultimately a positive experience for me.

    Just my two cents.
