YES!! It gets you in the gut how close we came to a world with a strong middle class and a stable economy and without a war in iraq, no torture or spying, and no unecissary fear.

    truly heartbreaking

I'm going to add Killing Fields and Little Miss Sunshine

Watched Dan In Real Life last night. Had a happy ending, but 95% of it was real sad. Great movie though.

I just saw Into the Wild..

It was so depressing I don't want to see it again because it will ruin the soundtrack for me.

It was moving... thats for sure. It was one of those movies that it takes you a few hours to shake off...

That said, I re-watched it and tried to focus on the beauty of Chris' journey. That made it ultimately a positive experience for me.

    Just my two cents.

i just watched United 93 the other day, pretty heart wrenching and intense, maybe too soon. I'm Canadian and it really hit me very hard, such a senseless waste of innocent life.

    Reign o'er me - really!

City of angels - yes, sad too, but not so much.

And my favourite movie - maybe not all movie, but in the end is soooo sad, that everytime I watch it - I cry (and I saw it about 30 times): The Last of Mohicans

Big Fish is my type of sad movie

and it's perfectly twisted, just enough...so as to not be entirely sad ;)

But, it remains, a sad reality for people/me
