This is a little late coming, but a weekend ago I was at Blacksheep Skates with my son, waiting on the owner to put a deck together for him. Somehow we got to talking about Lords of Dogtown and the early skate scene... and he gets out a video "Z-Boys" and drops it in his VCR... now, I'm kinda paying attention to it..and chatting about old school skating... and low and behold I look up and there's Jeff Ament..talking about the Z-Boys and the POP skating scene of the time.

I'm like, "Hey! That's Ament from Pearl Jam!"

Grand day. Spent the morning taking care of my nephew(friend's son) he is a toddler and we had a great time. My friend came home and we had a nice lunch. A very good day!

and to explain, we both liked each other and i heard he was gunna ask me out ten he tells me he was going to but decided against it cuz i was moving at the end of summer, and itd be even harder on me leaving so i was really upset all day becuz of that and sum other things and tonight when he sked me out boy did that finally put a smile on my face :]
