I was 36 in 1991, but my reaction was just like this video (which is great btw). :)
"I'd rather be with an animal." "Those that can be trusted can change their mind." "The in between is mine." "If I don't lose control, explore and not explode, a preternatural other plane with the power to maintain." "Yeh this is living." "Life is what you make it."

I think I may beat him. I was either 2 or 3, can't quite remember, though I do remember when Ten was the only album of theirs out, and also when Vs. came out. This is all thanks to my dad of course, he got way into them back them and thus passed it on to me. I'm 19 now.
    Stone Gossard...riffmeister extraordinaire!

I am a man, I am advanced.....I am the first man to borrow Stone's leather pants!

In the summer 1992, I was 17. I was a member of Upward Bound (educational program that prepares highschool kids for college etc.) A fellow student brought in the Ten cassette, we jammed to it shooting hoops between classes. It was beautiful!!! I bought Ten for myself with my newspaper money and wore it out in about two months. I remember about a week after hearing Ten another student brought a cassette copy he had gotten from a friend of a friend that had the songs Wash and Alone on it! It was the pre-internet hear what you want right now age, that cassette was like gold!!! Good times. I'm a music junkie but without a doubt Pearl Jam is the only music that really taps into my brain and takes me places I've been and long to be.

same here, only instead of being brought up pearl jam, i had to break away from the police/aerosmith train my mom had me on, which was further complicated by my dad's billy joel/paul simon. thank god my mom would put on the radio in the car, i remember being really little and just learning to speak in sentences when i heard jeremy. i didnt know the words so i would sing "jeremy spoken, claaaaasseeday". im also 19 :)

14 in 1994, me and my cousin used to sit there with our cassette player and pause/play/pause/play through every song on Ten trying to figure out what Ed was singing...
needless to say we were there for a while
