No, but be the table is easy to read and allows an easy way to compare the features between the three consoles.0 -

although i really don't take their or other sites reviews that serious, that's a brutal score. honestly, i don't care that it has 'an aweful story'...that's the last reason i play video games. at the end of the day, i'm ready to unwind and shoot some crap. the fact that the graphics and gameplay scored so poorly, now that's something...
at least Killzone 2 is coming.mrwalkerb wrote:dude I went through this exact debate last year, I ended up getting teh PS3 for a few reasons but a few things I didn't know, no batteries for the controllers save cash there and I know you can buy the xbox adapter blah blah to charge but that's still one more thing to buy, free online which is a bonus even if I tried hooking it up but didn't know how cause I'm a tard. plus the controllers are way awesomer and it looks about a thousand times cooler
The PS3 controllers suck, sorry doode.0 -
I'm and xbox guy. I'm still on the original 360 that I got a few years ago. Hasn't crapped out on me yet, although it's running harder and harder and freezing more often. So I'm due to send it back soon
I prefer the 360 controller and that makes a big difference. The analog sticks are much better and it feels solid in your hand.
Rygar, we gonna game tonight?NERDS!0 -

The analog sticks are the difference maker in the controllers. 360's are much better.0 -
I have (sad note: I'm over 30) both a 360, PS3, and Wii. That said, each has a specific purpose.
360: Games and online play
PS3: Movies
Wii: Fun
If you want to play online alot, then the 360 is a no brainer. You have to pay $60 a year, but you get what you pay for.
If you don't plan on playing online, then the PS3 has exceptional value because it is also a Blu-ray player.
The Wii is pretty fun. I actually spend a lot of time playing the retro games from the virtual console. Tons of great games. Wii sports is great fun. It's also more simplistic. If only they could make a great golf game . . .Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0 -
I have both and if the PS3 didn't have bluray, I would probably have the xbox on the main TV.
(so far I like playing games on 360 better, although I haven't played the same game on each system to directly compare)If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0 -

Since I come across as a PS3 hater, I'll deflect a little and recommend Uncharted (great) and next month Metal Gear is released, yum!0 -
Well i play halo 3 competitively and id firstly being with xbox live just being an incredible thing, who bothers playing offline.
The games are all there, i really cant think of what the playstation has, GTA, oh thats on xbox 360, they have metal gear solid and gran turismo but thats about it, project gotham racing is just as good at GT. I also think Final Fantasy is comming to xbox as well
And the playstation know its got to compete so they put all these fancy new features in like blue ray which is just totally uncessary.
Xbox 360 is also waaay cheaper now.0 -

- Project Gotham racing isn't anywhere near as good as GT. Not even remotely close, and it's an arcade game, not a racing sim. Forza 2 is a better comparison but it's doubtful any game will ever rival Gran Turismo. And, speaking as a 360 fan, Project Gotham Racing just plain sucks.
- Final Fantasy (the new one) is not coming to the 360, either.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is my current PS3 favorite. Warhawk is fun at times too.0 -

I was a huge fan of Forza, but Forza 2 felt like Forza 1.5 to me. I've actually had a lot of fun on PGR4 (though the cycles suck).

I was let down by forza also, that and the fact that my roomate would complain if you were racing online and bumped his car he'd freak out, but yet he did it to me 10x worse in every game. Selfish Bastard.
The only cool thing in forza 2 was the painting system.NERDS!0 -

I couldn't stand Forza 1, so I found F2 a huge step up. I'm a big racing sim fan, too, so that helps.
I didn't mind the bumping, but to the extreme of bumper cars...that is just wrong0 -

I think the only thing that I don't like about the PS3 is the friggin controller. The analog sticks are too long and placed too far back. It is more of an unnatural grip and they feel awkward.
I dl'd the game Grid and like it far more than gt5 prologueIf a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0 -

I would like Grid if it wasn't for Dirt. Central pivot systems on race cars is not so great, but it worked well for Dirt.
I bought Prologue when it went on sale. Not too bad, not up to usual GT standards however.
I agree with everything you said about the PS3 thumbsticks, and I don't like their mobility either.0 -
Does the PS3 have the cool logitech wheel w/ force feedback and 1080 steering? I can't figure out if it is just for the PS2 or if they have a new one.Be Excellent To Each OtherParty On, Dudes!0

GT5 seemed like all of the other gt's except with updated graphics. I know it is still a work in progress....but that coupled with me being able to bounce off of other cars with no consequences, it seemed more of the same.
Grid was a lot more fun:) and I like the way the car reacted to damage and that is all I am looking for in video games....get in, have fun, get out.
The PS3 controllers are also cheap feeling. I wonder how many times the internal battery will last as well.If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?0 -

Damage is coming to prologue as a download (as is my understanding, at least) so the full game should have it. Might make the online worth bothering with0 -
