    Also, if it was in front of your building, I imagine the custodian was told to remove it.

    How big was it?? Biggest rat I've seen was in fisherman's wharf in SF.. it was the size of a small wiener dog:eek: It ran right by me into this grate in the ground.

    I've heard stories of NY rats, but I've never seen one in person

    Most of the ones I see aren't too big. At least not wiener dog size. Maybe I hang out in the wrong neighborhoods?!?
