Certainly Rossdale is the worst lyricist of the 90s.Phantom Pain wrote:"You're an alien......I'm an alien.......its a beautiful rain....beautiful rain....""I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0

i won't argue that. but then, a good chunk of rock music isn't exactly poetry. i never could figure out what a single nirvana song was supposed to mean.
bush was among the worst ever though, no doubt. they were fun though.and like that... he's gone.0

"blood is like wine, unconscious all the time" Eh?
Minus points for having a singer called Gavin.
"Glycerine, don't let the days go by, Glycerine/" Glycerine?
Their popularity wasn't only due to american girls salaciously drooling over the singer. Sixteen Stone wasn't so bad at all, I preferred it to most britpop I heard at the time, but, as kinda made clear, lyrics that kad meaning would have taken them further.0
