  • I get the complaints about the refs, at least that has an impact, but what the hell did Paul's "acting" do to the scoreboard?

Play defense and it doesn't matter what Paul "fakes".

The Lakers themselves have said as much about the injury.
I got to admit that I had this wrong. I saw a five game series in the Lakers' favor. I'm stunned.

I have a feeling that the Celtics fans will be surprised at how tough the 3 games in LA are. We'll see though. May the better team win. Celtics held serve. The Lakers had their chances, got very few calls in their favor, and played like complete CRAP. We knew this would be a war. Can the Lakers sweep 3 in LA? Sure. Will they? Who knows? If they win 2 and go back to Boston, can they take 2 in a row in Boston? Probably not. But you never know.

As I saw it, a big play in Game 2... letting Powe go coast to coast for a freebie dunk. Without those 2 free (gimme) points, that 3 pointer near the end would have tied the game and changed the entire complextion of the final few seconds. Your Game Plan changes if you have a 2 point lead... or if the score is tied.

That's the funnest shit I've heard on this totally hot day of 98 degrees in DC. :D

Also I did take a good look at this Celtic team and it is strange that this team is predominately black. The Celtics always had some star white player and Lakers had the razzle dazzle black star players.

Interesting reality though, 2 more wins to go. If the CELTICS can win this series it would be sweeter than IF the Patriots had won the Super Bowl.

  • Just und3er 6 hours left till gametime. I cannot wait for this. It'll be interesting to see how the C's stand up to what should be a hostile environment. I still think the C's are the better team, but the Lakers will be getting the calls and they will be pumped up.

not gonna lie though, that 31-9 run in the 4th quarter scared the jesus outta me and probably every Celtics fan as well. We'll see what happens in L.A.

Just a tad too little and a tad too late.

In all honesty, they really needed to take one in Boston. The odds are slim that the Lakers will sweep in LA, which is what they need to do, in my opinion, to win the series. You never know though! It would be pretty sweet for me if they can do it.

Ain't that the truth, I didn't see the end of that game it was too much for me. If the Celtics win tonight it'll be as surprising as Big Brown coming in LAST place at the Belmont.

I'd place that shocked symbol but I'm not sure how to write it.

about time Kobe got T'd up for whining at the officials in this game ... they have a what, 20 - 2 free throw advantage and he's still complaining.

No doubt, the Lakers are outplaying the C's right now ... but, jeez Kobe, you remind me of Dan Marino with your crying.
