oh no, he does nothing for me either but I think he's quite clever in the language he uses and his life really interests me... tbh, I don't see what some women do see in him!

    hehe! steady now Soupy ;)

I can see his charm certainly, he has the gift of the gab for sure and yeah, he's not ugly as such... but he's not stunning either.

I just don't see the appeal. Tbh though, i'm not really attracted to men who's reputation is built on how sexually promiscuous they are :p

I'm a good way through the first book already. Beautiful language and very difficult to put down. There's no doubt that I'll be reading his other books.

    Thanks Trix :)

I also have to get my book for my other book club..I am assuming it will blow.

I just finished Chasing Windmills last night. Ick.

i started reading it today.. i'm about 30 pages or so in.. the language is great as i catch myself reading it in the voice of a southern gentleman.. or one of the hairy guys from Kings of Leon.. why thank you ma'am... that kinda thing.

p.s. it was my idea to do this book.. Trix started the thread as she gets taken more seriously than me :(:D
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

At first I read that as "She takes this more seriously than me".
And I was going to say it was your choice anyway. :)
I would love, love, love to hear your version of a Southern gentleman accent.
I dont get taken seriously. People always have some snarkiness going on but that negativity only makes me stronger.
I still have to get the book. :o

I already ordered another of his at the library.

Thank Dunk...although I think you're right about Trix being taken more seriously ;)
