Ok, so I thought maybe people would want to start a book club with me.
I have one in my real life and love it.

If you care to join, the first selection is:
A Quiet Belief in Angels - RJ Ellory

After which we will each take turns choosing a book.
I like to allow a month so as to not drag out the books.

So, meet back here on (tbd) and we can discuss the book.
Sound good?

I like this idea, though currently i'm backed up with about ten books to read, so I won't be in this time. Possibly in future though...I just love to read!

And, no flippin showing off either, using fancy words and stuff ;)
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

I just looked it up, shit sounds a bit depressing, we shoulda had a comedy. I bought it though...sorry Dunk, Bloody African River, or whatever it is, will have to be next now.
I don't know though, a month? I won't be able to come here if I have to read a book that quick!
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

Unless they are for uni, put them on hold. This will be fun! :)
Dunk...you are right...It is me that is the dork. :)

In my other book club, we look up questions online and then react to those, but I think that would require us getting a room. A chat room, you dirty minds.
If someone has the link to the Pit chat room, we could maybe use that?

I only usually buy second hand books unless it is one I really want, I might give this a go but a month is a long time, I will have forgotted what the book was about by the time we get round to discussing it.
    Astoria 20/04/06, Leeds 25/08/06, Prague 22/09/06, Wembley 18/06/07,
    Dusseldorf 21/06/07, Manchester 17/08/09, London 18/08/09, LA 06/10/09, LA 07/10/09.

Ain't gonna be any middle anymore.

just read it and discuss it whenever as i'm sure others will have finished it before the month as well?

maybe ask the others if that's ok... i'll probably read it in 2 weeks or so... if i wait a month i'll have forgotten as well

as boring as this sounds... it sounds really interesting too :)

I'm in the middle of a great one at the moment and then I have The Road to read so after that, I reckon I'll be in.
    The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
    Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"
    Wembley? We all believe!
Copenhagen?? your light made us stars
    Chicago 07? And love
    What a different life
Had I not found this love with you
