  • I it can be resolved with an office visit. Just another excuse, IMO. :)

an excuse for what, may I ask. I know you hate me for some unknown reason, but seriously, wtf.

and please, you don't know everyone's medical situation. I go to the doctor several times a year. I'm not on the pill to prevent pregnancy, I'm on it because without it my periods are so bad I can't function at all, can't get out of bed. I tried 4 different pills when I first started, and the one I'm on is the only one that has really helped. my doctor does not see the low estrogen type as suitable for my needs.
  • I'm so glad I'm not a chick. Listen to all the pill talk and how it can fuck you up. An ex of mine couldn't take the pill at all. It would just fuck her all up.
that was the scariest thing I ever went through... cos it was a long time before I made the connection. I'm generally a happy person so to feel like that was terrifying. I'd start crying on the bus, on the street, ANYWHERE for no reason... and then when I'd say to myself 'what the fuck are ya crying for, there's nothing wrong' I'd cry even more! :D It was comical to look back on but not at the time. I'd good people around me but still felt completely alone... my housemates were brilliant!

Will be here soon. FEBRUARY 14th. A day to bring to my attention just how SINGLE I am..............yipppeeee!!

There is a little bit of sarcasm here..............

    hahahahahahaha!!!!

Sorry for laughing but this really tickled me! I thought it was SERIOUS!!! :o
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
  • Note, it says sex drive, not men, two different things.

it doesn't seem related to you? you are attracted to people as a function of your sexuality. if you have no sex drive, you're not going to be attracted/interested much in the opposite sex. and see above post regarding findings that women on the pill have been found not to react to men's smell the same as women who do not take the pill.

Hates a pretty strong word, don't ya think? Take it easy there tiger.

For the record, I never said I knew yours or anyone elses medical condition, so don't assume that I assume I know. I really don't even need to know your reasons why. Last time I checked, I had an opinion and was entitled to use it, just as you have yours.

I take the pill to help correct this, because this is what my body does on it's own! (and a whole lot that's worse). it took me a long time to make the connection too! (different connection, but you get what I mean). So you can see how I have to be pretty careful about just switching pills as easily as purple chick would like to think.

I've seen the highs and the lows. It was crazy. I don't envy it in any way.

I'm also glad I don't have to shave my arm pits and my legs. LOL

I pretty much always forget it's Valentine's day. Why do people even care? It's probably the most plastic and commercially orientated "holiday" there is anyway.

Sure, there's a nice sentiment behind it, but people should be nice to their loved ones every day. Just like the sentiment of Christmas is to be generous and giving and kind to others...why not just do that all the time?

you gave an opinion relating to me personally, suggesting that I was lazy and stupid and making assumptions about the medical history of someone you've never met. that, is an opinion you are not allowed to give. Also, you have not answered my question of what taking the pill is an excuse for. I would certainly like to know since you know everything about me.

Valentines Day is special for me. It's great to be alive on that day! Heart heart heart I love the heart!

Some people have anniversaries when they stoped drinking, or when they got their divorce, or even when they got married. Mine's an anniversary of a happy heart (takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin' 33 years anniversary). As I'm celebrating the heart, so is everyone else hahahahahahahahahahahaha wonderful coincidence!

    It's a great day. :)

The day is all about me . . .

    unless a B-Rob lookalike would come along . . .

but until then it's all about me :D

What a wonderful thing to celebrate!! I never really thought about it that way.
I should use this day to celebrate my son's heart. He's had 3 open heart surgeries. His first was when he was 8 days old and 5lbs!! Had 2 more before he was 3 years old. He is an amazing kid. He's 8 years old now and he is my sweetheart!!

Holy shit! Your kid rocks!!!!! Way to go 5 years surgery free! *high-five*

I was in ICU on VD (33 years ago) so that's why it's special to me. I had tetralogy of fallot. 39 years ago doctors didn't operate on newborns for what I had. They usually waited, and possibly did a shunt, but 5 years was when the first open heart surgery was performed.

For those of us that are single let's nominate February 14, 2008 as PJPixie's Son's Day. What do you think?

Why do people think that Valentine's Day yah gotta do something for your sweetheart? I think you should spread good karma and just do something nice and good for someone... collect food and send it to food shelf, give local pet shelter dog treats, collect blankets for homeless.... PS Im a florist and hate that holiday.

I can't stand shaving my face. I have an important meeting this afternoon so I HAD to clean myself up. Then you get the questions from the office ladies, "How come you don't shave more often?" I'd like to reply, "You don't shave your legs everyday, do you?" but I think that now falls under the umbrella of harassment.

If I could, I'd plunk down the money to do laser hair removal on my face.

    Can't stand it at all.
