    Richards has been named Flyers Captain

    Mathieu Schneider has cleared waivers and remains on the Ducks roster ( I dont get why no one would want a still solid d-man with a plus 22 rating adding 12 goals and 27 asssists)

    Brindamour and Justin Williams both hurt for the Canes. Rod's out until the beginning of regular season and Williams out 4-6 months

    well schneider cleard waivers and no one picked him up so he remains on the Ducks .
    Williams knee surgery has him out for a good while

    theres more players about to hit the waivers the next couple of days

    nah schnieder won't be picked up yet. It's either when he's brought back up or sent down for the 2nd time that teams get him for half of his salary. Once this happens, he'll be gone in a heartbeat

    Yeah I had my info mixed up, and was thinking on the way down if anyone got him Anaheim would be on the hook for 1/2 his salary.
    They're talking trades now, according to TSN.
