having just finished the wire, i must conclude that it is simply the greatest show ever.

so deep, so well written, such perfect characters

nothing can compare- of that i have no doubt

i'm into season 2 now and it is excellent. a very compelling story with phenomenal acting.

i think dexter was also mentioned here, i might like that even better!
    and like that... he's gone.
  • if you did not take my advie in january, then take it now. Watch the Shield. The only show that has me sitting on the edge of the couch the whole hour. I also recently got started on Breaking Bad. Wow. Soem of the ebst acting i have ever seen, ever. Movie, TV, whatever. Bryan Cranston is unbelievable.

    I am moving onto:

    The shield
    The middleman
    The corner
    Deadwood

I've watched most of the other suggestions since I'm a proper tv addict. I do still have a job and social life though- I'm not a hermit!

I frickin love firefly! Gutted it got canned :(

AD is truly spectacular- keep watchin til the end! Again, gutted it got canned. All the best shows get stopped- freaks and geeks and undeclared too!

As for the office, you will like it I imagine. I would say watch the original British version of 'the office' as it's the original idea, then explore the US office

AD is really funny (my stomach literally hurt from laughing)...what were they thinking having it cancelled?
