Does it have to be a comedy?

If not, the tv show Dexter is really good. I know season 1 is out on DVD. But it is about as far from a comedy that you can get.

I'm not sure if you can get this on DVD yet, but Californication with David Duchovny is really good.

Lots of sex and wicked good dialog in the writing.
