Why did Jenny run away yet again after Forrest asked her to marry him?

It seemed she was tired of running around and finally appeared content being at home with Forrest. Then she fucks him, storms away and has his kid without his knowledge. What the fuck? Any thoughts?

    maybe b/c 'content' does not mean 'love'....and also, she had her myriad issues, maybe she didn't want to complicate forrest's life, let HIM live his life and be content. perhaps she felt 'unworthy' of easy contentment. she didn't have an easy upbringing, so a plethora of 'reasons' as to why she wouldn't stay in an easy, content relationship.

    Maybe or maybe she was simply selfish ;).till she found out she was dying..but why not tell Forrest about the kid? His life wasn't all that complicated and Forrest would have been able to handle just about anything as evident by all the challenges he faced along the way..he rode the wave with no questions asked..in most cases..

    me too....obviously she had issues with the way she grew up but i would think after he beats up every guy who's bad to you, comes in his shorts when he sees your boobies and let's you "rehab" at his crib, you would pull your head out of your ass and realize the guy will be the best thing you'll ever have...
