    I think that says it all. :o Lot's of people have known a 'Jenny' but Forrest is a completely fictional character. He had a lot of heart break in his life but nothing phased him (which is quite unusual) and then he met the true love of his life, who in different ways, hurt him repeatedly, yet the only time he cried, (and seem to have some feeling) was when she died. Realisticly speaking, how many people do you know that has never even acknowledged that someone has done you wrong?
    In short, I think she thought he'd never understand... but I might change my opinion tomorrow... :o

    how i interpreted it was, she slept with him on impulse because she felt bad blowing off his marriage proposal, then upon waking up realizing that she just probably majorly fucked with his head. meaning he might think "cool, now we're gonna get married", and she couldn't face doing that to her friend. so yeah, she took the coward's way out and ran away, like she always had done in her life when faced with confronation or a difficult situation. she probably always intended to tell forrest about his son, but when she found out she was sick, she figures that better to reunite them so her son will be well taken care of when she's gone.
    yeah it was a dick move on her part, but its still an awesome movie. don't even remind me about when he's talking to her grave...fuck, now i'm gonna lose it!
