does it bother anyone else as much as it bothers me? Seriously it's like a gut reaction for me to resist putting my head on things I am not interested in. it sort of makes me head tingle and I feel slightly nauseous.
I need to go to school again...I wish I had the money. work makes me want to gauge my eyeballs out.

a hobby doesn't get me through work...and my hobbies always fall through because when I get home from work it's time to go to bed!0 -

well I already went to grad school, and I'll be paying off those loans until long after I'm dead ($80,000!). My payments are $700/month now...if I went to school again, when I got out I'd be paying like $1400/month!0 -

yes, school. I LOVE being in school.
and many, many other things that I can't do because I have to spend my life behind this freaking desk wanting to gauge my eyeballs out because I'm manipulating data on electric transmission lines for 12 hours a day.0 -

sorry that's true. I have no brain capacity at this point.
but seriously, does anyone have such a huge aversion like this? like it I don't WANT to concentrate on a particular thing, it's almost physically impossible for me to do so.0 -
i've been reviewing account stuff and job descriptions for the past hour. hard to focus on it, so i just had a cup of coffee, that helped. it's not my favorite part of my job but it's what they pay me to do.0

Going back to school doesn't mean you have to quit work and enrol as a full-time student, racking up even more debt and degrees you don't need.
If you love school, take a course or class of interest at your local community college.
.No time to be void or save up on life. You got to spend it all.0 -

I think I get paid for mental anguish...
it really physically hurts me. I don't get it, I love school and hardly ever get bored with it and do fantastically at it and I definitely do not have a problem with hard work, but in every job I've had I've literally just preferred wacking my head against things to doing my work. it just brings down my whole life!0 -

yeah I looked for courses this semester but there wasn't anything I could justify taking. but even if I were taking a class (I have taken them at night after work in the past) it still wouldn't get me to be able to focus on my job work.0 -

sort of, sort of not. nominally it is, in practice it isn't.0 -

or
stay at job save a chunk of money, travel for a week come back and start at top of list
