    Just read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by Hunter S. Thompson and I have started reading Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk. I really like Palahniuk's style of writing, it's got such a great darkly comic twist to it.

    That's a great book. I'm currently re-reading Delta of Venus, by Anais Nin. It's a collection of erotic short stories that she wrote for a $1.00 a page for a wealthy male patron.

    Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami.

    Took about 100 pages to get into it but really enjoying it now, about 300 pages in.

    Fortress of Solitutude by Jonathan Lethem. I haven't finished, but I think it will be one of the best books I've read this year. I started Never Let me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, but it was a little freaky (clone colony) so I'll finish it later.

    Could you reiterate what books you would recommend? Anyone read Alentejo Blue by Monica Ali?

    I just started a book called the 3 Pound Enigma: The Human Brain and the Quest to Unlock it's Mysteries, so far it's very interesting.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.
