    i'm sure it is. deja vu, that is. even from the short reviews i've read of the series (thanks for posting that agian ;)), there have been a couple of things that have happened that i knew was coming, like gran adele's passing. seems like a couple of things have been changed slightly.

    the characters are intriguing to say the least, the music is great, and the story is engrossing. i'm enjoying it more and more each week.

    sam and that dog...something going on there...sookie says she gets a different type of thinking from sam. as the weeks go on, seems there's more to him than meets the eye. i'm also curious to know what bill knows about bellefleur. he reacted to meeting him like he knew something about him or his family.

    anyway, great episode last night. the scene with sookie eating the pie was intense. anna paquin was superb! :)

    And a stupid question, what actually turns one into a vampire?? Is it being bitten or drinking blood from a vampire?? Both happened to Bill a long time ago and now both have happened to Sookie (sp?). Is she going to be a vampire now?

    I am really looking forward to next week's episode.

    I would say being bitten due to the bite hitting directly a vein which could carry infections and other diseases to all parts of the body.

    I'm still a couple of episodes behind, but I'm liking it.

    I read a review that criticized the fact that when Sookie reads the thoughts of others, the thoughts are always in complete sentences.

    Give me a break. It's a convention of the show. If you can't get past that, you are too hung up on triviality to enjoy it.

    Oh yeah, he was marking his territory last night ;). They make reference to it in every episode. Of course, Bill knows what he is. I liked when the dog came and sat next to him outside in the yard looking up at the Sookies window.

    Although a shape shifter is much more likely what Sam is. Which basically means he doesn't have to wait for a full moon and he can pretty much change at will. It is so sad I know this.

    No, Sookie will not become a vampire by letting Bill drink from her. I'm fairly certain that the books follow the rule that to be turned into a vampire, a vampire must first nearly drain the victim of blood. Once the victim reaches the point of certain death, the victim (with the last of their strength) drinks from the vampire and then dies. If the victim drinks they wake up a vampire, if not they just die.

    I can't wait for next week either!

    I believe in the book it also says that a person can be turned into a vampire if drank "from" enough. As in like over a hundred times within like a month or something. You get the idea. Not sure, I'll have to look it up.

    you are correct.. that is how it happens at least in anything I have ever read or watched. Basically Bill marked her as his now. He pretty much owns her in the vampire sense. He can share her if he wants or if another Vamp wants to take her it will be a fight.
