I love this show. For some reason I've always suspected Rene as being the killer. It's just a vibe I'm getting. I wonder what else we'll see Sam change into in future episodes...

It looks like you might be right nice call.

I'm sad there is only one show left. I wish it were a two hour....

Bill is PISSED.....and yes, Sam looked HOT the whole episode.

yeah Im sad too..and a 2 hour show would be cool. I think that was kind of messed up what Sookie did to Bill..afterall he was in trouble because of her.

i keep expecting eric to say "stay frosty". :)

Me too. That was my favorite show this summer. I've noticed a lot of character actors who pop up in multiple HBO series.

I love this show. For some reason I've always suspected Rene as being the killer.

I was just telling someone at work recently that everyone on that show is fucked up in some way and that the only one I could find that was somewhat normal was Rene. I did think for a second that something was going to happen though, on the night that he stopped the car and ended up proposing. I chalked it up to the writers just fucking with us. Maybe it was actually a little foreshadowing. Guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.
I was thinking the killer might be the quiet guy who works at the bar (not even sure what his name is).

  • Just watched the episode, and it looks like I finally made a somewhat accurate prediction! Good times. Too bad that Bill got the shaft, but he did kind of blitz Sookie and Sam in an overly aggressive manner, so he was kind of asking for it. Anyhoo, I'm glad to see that psycho bitch is out for the count. She was hot, but so damn annoying. One more episode, it'll be sad when the seasons over...

I get the feeling Sookie still wants some more of Mr. Bill and yes a 2 hour season finally would be great.

Tara is starting to get on my nerves. Uppity B needs to just enjoy life and chill. Her character wasn't in the book (that I recall) so I have no idea where they are going with her. Seems like the woman that got her from jail is looking for Sam? I don't know. Sunday is going to be hard, Season finale of TB and Entourage, and the 24 movie. I have to tape that.

there's no mistaking the voice, even with the drastic change in hairstyle. :D i agree, that was a fantastic series.

good call on the foreshadowing. i'd tend to agree. a bad ass prediction by Lostdogsinthegarden as well! :)

I got the first one shortly after we saw the first episode of TrueBlood. After that, it was an addiction! We had to hunt all over town to finally find them all...they were selling out fast. There are actually quite a few of us that are TrueBlood fans and we've passed the books around like crazy.

Having now caught up through her last book (May, 2008), I can say YES! read them. The books are far better than the series. And that's not a diss on TrueBlood, a book generally always has more depth of character than a movie or mini-series can.

I have heard they are better then the series which really got me interested. I think they offer them in a pack, where you get all the books together. I probably would just get the first one and see how it goes :)

Yep, the books are great! It's what I was doing a year ago. Someone recommended it to me and I read them all over Thanksgiving vacation, except the new one that I got when it came out. Can't wait for the next with the new twist! :)

I was wondering what was up with that too cause you mean Lafette was missing for two weeks and nobody wondered where he was.

I'm assuming Bill fed on Lafayette but I could be wrong. Not sure how he ended up in Andy's car though.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
