I really enjoyed the episode tonight. I hope it does well. This has a lot of potential. Definitely better than John From Cincinnati (which I watched every episode of and wish they had brought back just so I could figure out what the hell was going on!).
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

  • I too enjoyed the 1st episode. Not really much of a fan of vampire flicks or books but this kept my attention and I am looking forward to next week's episode.

Not convinced its good. I will give it a few more episodes. Sons of Anarchy blew my face off, and even 90210 was great. This was a little.....I don't know. I think Mr. Vampire is over acting a bit too much. The stupid stance is just that, kinda stupid. I hope it gets better.

I don't even know that I've ever watched an entire vampire movie and I've never read a vampire book and I still liked it a lot.

Thinking that I may also tune in for the second episode too.

I have also given up on some of their series but I may stick with this one after seeing the first episode. There was quite a bit of sexual images in that episode which I liked. :)

I love the books, so was very excited for this. If you've read the books though, it's a bit of deja vu. Still, really well done and faithful to them. I'll keep watching for sure. :)

  • I caught a sneak peek of the pilot about a month ago and I really enjoyed it. I watched the premiere and I was kind of bummed that Brook Kerr (Tara #1) had been replaced. She was more subtle in the role and not so much in everyone's face... but still had attitude.

Other than that, it was cool to see the few missing scenes that were not yet in the early pilot. I'll keep watching it though, it still entertained me.

And my favorite vampire movies are: Interview with a Vampire, The Lost Boys, Salem's Lot, and Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Nothing will ever beat Buffy and Angel though. :)

I thought the same about Tara, the first one was much better.

I read that the ratings weren't very good for the first episode...It doesn't look like too many people were interested in watching it. I hope it lasts, it looks like a promising show. I was bummed when Carnivale got the ax.

Last nights episode was so much better than the first. I think episode 1 they had to get all the characters in and only did it in one hour. Much more action in episode 2.
I liked when Bill was licking off the blood from the gaping hole in her forehead. The wrist ripping drinking was good too, very sensual. Now I like it.

Enjoyed last night's episode....some good dialogue to go along with the eye-candy.

Caught the second half last night and need to catch the first tonight. I thought that half was had more action than the first episode. I'm starting to like that black girl with the southern accent BTW where is this story located in the South.
