Only if your name is Fanch. Otherwise it brings fulfillment and completeness to one's life.

1/2 full may be their best song.

I am hoping for a lot of riot act this tour.

I am hoping for hours and hours of PJ....
    Conversations getting dull
There's a constant ringing in my ears
Sense of humor's void and numb
    And I'm bored to tears.......

Love this song. Possibly the most underrated song in PJ's entire catalog.

I know its been a while, but hearing 1/2 Full live was the highlight of the tour for me.

Every PJ album has a few gems, a few hardcore punk riff songs, and a couple of ballads. Riot Act, in my opinion, is fantastic. I don't compare PJ albums with each other because its pointless. All I'll say about that is Yield is my favorite. But I love Cropduster, Ghost, LBC, Save you (which is a very well written song; with tremendous passion I must add), I am mine is a very inspirational song, Ghost has amazing lyrics: "A place in the clouds, a good place to hide on my own", I mean, come on! That's awesome. "Breaking news and building walls" etc. All or none and Thumbing are the ballads, which, in my opinion, have amazing lyrics. I'm not crazy about Help Help, Get right and arc but I don't skip them (except arc). Green Disease is not great but not bad either. All in all I believe the song writing on this album is supurb and is right up there with all the other albums. But everyone is entitled to their opinions. I would suggest reading the lyrics as you listen because that way you pick up little things you may not have heard (Eddie can be muffled at times). That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. The gems on this album are Save You, LBC, and Thumbing although it could be considered a ballad as well.

Totally agree - I am of the opinion that PJ is like a fine wine and just gets better as they age. This album was their first after the Denmark tragedy and it obviously played a role in this album - some pretty emotional tracks. Was in my cd player for six months after I bought it. Finally saw / heard Can't Keep, Save You & ARC live - all incredible.

I realise this thread is very old but I'm currently listening to Riot Act and thinking about how great this album is. I think it deserves a lot more appreciation than it gets in general. I love Riot Act!

Couldn't agree more. Some quirky songs mixed in there for sure, but for me that's a positive. Save You and Get Right are great rockers, love the drum machine effect in You Are, Ghost and 1/2 Full for the blues feel, All or None has a great outro solo esp live. Not a skip on there, OK maybe Arc. Also love that they put their politics out there for everyone to see even if you don't agree with them. It was a pretty weird time in the country if you remember,  although not as bad as now for sure. It mystifies me how many people don't like RA, to each their own I guess.
