The brewers fan threw trash at the Cubs' fans bus! I would kick somebodys ass if they threw trash at me!

I'd be pissed, but I don't think I'd commit a felonious assault on the guy. I mean, he only threw trash, not a punch.

As a Sox fan, I'll admit that about 4 or 5 years ago, we were the much more volatile and hostile fans in the city. But from living on the North Side and putting up with all my Cub friends this year, the roles have reversed.

That kind of thing happens all of the damn place.
Mix beer, plus a big game and afterwards you will have people being stupid.

You probably wouldn't believe it, but Diamondback fans are some of the worst out there. After the Diamondbacks won game one of the playoff series against the Cubs (I was there)...you would not believe the shit the D-back fans were pulling. They were literally singling people out who were wearing Cubs gear and a) talking shit b) trying to pick fights and c) just being complete dicks.
I've seen hundreds of baseball games in my day and I was blown away by that scene.
I've also seen D-backs vs. Dodgers games and those are even worse!

Sure a lot of "Cubs fans" go to the game and get drunk and act stupid, and many of those "Cub fans" are just that because it's the thing to do apparently.
Anyways, it happens all over the place and it's quite sad.
The Brewers fan shouldn't have thrown garbage, and the Cubs fans overreated. Looking back I'm pretty sure everyone involved would agree that it was stupid.

Anyways...I can only imagine the chaos in Chicago if the Cubs and Sox make the series! LOL

Yeah, I agree with you. Alcohol fuels this shit.
Me and my brother go to a few Cubs-Sox games each year, and about 5 years ago, when he was 12, I wouldn't let him leave my side at those games. It was insane, the 20-something year old Cubs fans talking smack to a 12 year old kid, with a college football playing older brother at his side(offensive line too).
And I know some Sox fans can be just as bad. In both cases, these are not the good, true fans of the teams, just hotheads with nothing better to do.

And if there's an all Chicago Series, I fear for this city, no joke.

He threw a freaking can at the bus after the Cub fans said shit to him.

    Get your facts straight.

Is it worth facing 3 yrs in jail over?

What's sad is one of the Cub fans hit his sister in the face cause she was trying to break it up. Nice going.

    It's drunk people acting stupid.
  • It's drunk people acting stupid.

It is, and it happens at every stadium, with every teams fans. But I think Tampa Bay Bucs fans are the worst, I saw a Bucs fan pull out his Dick while yelling to a female Chicago Bears fan "suck this bitch".... Honest to god, true story, that guy got his ass kicked, first by Bears fans then by the cops. There is no excuse for this kind of behavior, but thats what alcohol does.

It's a couple of bad apples that wreck it for all of us.

I may give you and other cub fans shit. But its all in good fun and its only a game. No need for bad behavior.

So do you guys still hate Jim Edmonds?

Game over you swept us. lol
  • Amazing. Game 1 of this series was one of the best games I've seen all year. It seemed like a playoff game. What a differenc e afew days, and a dominant starter like harden make. What a series for the Cubs. If Harden stays healthy, they are gonna be damn tough to beat

I'm watching the game on the basbeall package, the Brewers feed. they just showed a shot that could be taken hilariously out of context. It was a shot of the scoreboard:

    BUSH

    KKK

    Pretty much.
I always thought he was a bit of a punk while a Cardinal.
Oh well, I'll just have to get over it. lol

Well, a good series for the Cubs...but being the Cubs and how close everything still is, they need to keep it going!
  • I dont have any problem with Edmonds. I hated him when he was with the Cards, but he is ok by me once he puts on the blue pinstripes
  • Lilly Zambrano Dempster Harden, all pitched great. Never thought a sweep would happen, just fantastic.

Edmonds has been one of the best pickups Hendry has ever even thought of doing, kudos!

Now mop up on the Pirates! Cubs have owned them anyways, but now they are without X-Nady, Marte and Jason Bay.

    .

4 straight quality starts, a 4 game sweep of the Brewers in there park, and total Cub domination all series. Damn glad I was there to be a part of it. It's a great time for me being a Cubs fan in Milwaukee. Lot's of baseball to go though so I'm not gonna get too carried away.

As far as Edmonds, i was extremely upset when the Cubs got him because I couldn't stand him as a Cardinal. I was skeptical of what he would do for this team cause he was playing horrible in SD. However, I can know say I've got no problem with the guy. He may well be the biggest addition we've made all year.

Yesterday it was a White Sox fan at a 2 year olds Birthday party. He lost his eye.

    It is just a GAME!!!

Definetely not worth going to jail over. Just because someone throws something at you doesn't give you the right to beat there ass. However, what did that idiot think was going to happen. He instigated it by throwing the can/bottle. He doesn't do that, this doesn't happen. That being said, it's good that both parties are being charged, at least that's what I've heard.
