    The worst they ever messed up a song was Alive from San Sebastion, Spain 5-26-00. I remember rollingstone.com did a thing in 2000 where they reviewed all 72 of the 2000 tours shows. Alive from this show was described as "sounding like a stoner high school pearl jam cover band." Eddie apologizes after the song.

    LAST KISS 6/6/2003 las vegas! this was classic, i remember laughing at the show at how much eddie butchered the lyrics, then blamed it on "the strength of the wine being drank here tonight". great stuff!!!

    I can't stress it enough; if you want to listen to Pearl Jam fuck up a song, you gotta check out this version of Alive

    stone fucked up during Do the Evolution at Hartford...Ed asked stone if he wanted another try and stone declined...They made up for that one though, great fuckin show

    I saw the first time they ever played Smile in London in '96, and he next night Eddie said that halfway through "someone messed up really bad" and they had ruined some people's bootlegs so they would play it again perfectly.

    And Black on the MTV uplugged.
    All my favourite singers have stolen all of my best lines.

    Last Kiss at Jones Beach in 2000 (night 2 maybe) was a disaster....

    They were also broadcasting live on K-Roc that night which is 92.3, Ed thanks 92.7 which at the time was LIR, a rival station..... LIR used that as a promo for ever!

    Yeah you got it. I'm 12 because I pointed out that Eddie has a tendency to get piss drunk during shows and implying that is why he occasionally screws up lyrics. That is such a far fetched idea isn't it? Fucking up because someone has had too much to drink? Nah, that never happens right?

    I 100% agree with you...
    I've seen him so drunk that he is falling down on stage (Meadowlands 2003)
    He's a drunk... a good looking, great song writing drunk..... He forgets he's not 20 up on that stage...... he is a drunk!

    I've been to 16 shows. I've never seen ed "piss drunk." Maybe that was just your shows. Guess it could happen.
