How do you know that someone just decided 9/11 was an inside job and then just went digging for info to make it true? Just because it's something you may not choose to believe doesn't mean that it couldn't have happened or that people who do believe just want to make it true somehow. I know that I personally didn't want to believe it at first myself...it was just too scary of a thought for me to deal with. I took the stance that although some of the stuff didn't add up, it was all proabably explainable. Then I started to read more and more and couldn't ignore it, I had too many questions, there were obvious lies and when there are lies I can no longer give benefit of the doubt as I had before. Even at this point I was still to weary of posting info here because of all the bashing that goes on, the looney comments, and refusal of people to look into it and take it seriously. So I would just allow others for the most part to post and try to discuss these things because of my thin skin and worry of what others here may think of me (I don't want to be called crazy or ridiculous, just as no one else does). Now I 'm just seeing too much info and well thought out work and studies coming out...the evidence it getting way too overwhelming for me to not put my neck on the line and stand behind what I believe. I don't want to think I'm crazy or easily led...I know that I'm not, so when I decide to believe something even if it's only a small group who are behind it...I'm gonna support it and trust in myself that I am standing up for what I believe to be true no matter what treatment i may recieve because of it...it's important and deserves attention. You can think what you will but I also think it says a lot when someone completely dismisses all facts in order to keep their current view of the world intact. What is it really saying when no matter how much evidence is presented, one still just looks over it and goes for the easy insult of another's intellegence or sanity?

Thanks for posting these links all in one spot Abook. With all the debate on this issue I have been wanting to look at some of the arguments and this will make it MUCH easier for me to do. I'll check this out tonight if my baby will cooperate and finally go to sleep for more than 30 minutes, lol. Anyhoo, nice job of coordinating these links.

Took the words right out of my mouth. It is all really terrible, I wish 9/11 was really easy to believe. Who wants to think America is poisoned from the top down? I sure don't.

I wish tomorrow some solid evidence comes along and blows all this conspiracy stuff right out of the water. That would actually make me very happy to know (and somewhat relieved given the circumstances)....but alas...back to reality thus far... :(

I can't understand how anyone buys into the "Official" version of what occured on 9/11.

There are so many holes, so many ridiculous oddities and coincidences.

Then there's all the secrecy, stonewalling, feet-dragging and flat out refusal by Bush and the Administration to elect a legitimate, independant commitie, with full access to all the information and evidence.

Let's face it, Bush and this Administration did not, has not and will not even cooperate in good faith and goodwill in seeking legitimate answers to any of this.

Those with nothing to hide, need not lie, obstruct and hide.

...and thank you for the links and info, Abook!

Maybe you should have thought about it first. Especially when you cant prove any of it wrong. Get over it George is fucked. And the government is corrupt as fuck. Can you tell me why were in Iraq? Can you tell me why its okay for use to have so many nuclear weapons and North Korea cant have a missile? Can you tell me why our gas prices are so high?

In the history of structural engineering, steel-frame high-rise buildings have never been brought down due to fires either before or since 9/11, so how can fires have brought down three in one day? How is this possible?

The BBC has reported that at least five of the nineteen alleged "hijackers" have turned up alive and well living in Saudi Arabia, yet according to the FBI, they were among those killed in the attacks. How is this possible?

Frank DeMartini, a project manager for the WTC, said the buildings were designed with load redistribution capabilities to withstand the impact of airliners, whose effects would be like "puncturing mosquito netting with a pencil." Yet they completely collapsed. How is this possible?

Since the melting point of steel is about 2,700°F, the temperature of jet fuel fires does not exceed 1,800°F under optimal conditions, and UL certified the steel used to 2,000°F for six hours, the buildings cannot have collapsed due to heat from the fires. How is this possible?

Flight 77, which allegedly hit the building, left the radar screen in the vicinity of the Ohio/Kentucky border, only to "reappear" in very close proximity to the Pentagon shortly before impact. How is this possible?

Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta, in an underground bunker at the White House, watched Vice President Cheney castigate a young officer for asking, as the plane drew closer and closer to the Pentagon, "Do the orders still stand?" The order cannot have been to shoot it down, but must have been the opposite. How is this possible?

Dont think Ive seen these answered.

No one said anything about going to Iraq to remove Saddam from power. Correct me if im wrong but Bush said that they have WmD's which were never found. If you didnt notice Iraq was perfectly fine until we fucked it up. They were actually kicked the shit out of Iran which is now our new project for a "regime change". North Korea and Iran want missiles so they can protect themselves from countries that go and take over others for no reason. Are they to blame for wanting to protect themselves? You might want to think about who the real terrorists are.

There was no terrorists in Iraq before we went there. Saddam didnt allow that kind of shit. Does it matter if Iraq defeated Iran with weapons we gave them? And your reason for wanting to go to Iraq has nothing to do with the terrorist tactics that lead us into Iraq. Bush made us afraid of Iraq by telling us hes a huge threat and has WMD's. And is your sarcasm a way to avoid the fact that we went to war with a country for no reason?

I'm not defending the 'official' reason for being there, I am just glad we did. I think my reason is closer to the real reason our government went in.

Iraq had, and we are still finding, WMD's. He used them to kill his own people for fuck's sake.

We havent and wont find any WMD's. The governments real reason for going to Iraq was for oil. He killed those people a long fucking time ago. If the people thought it was bad they should have done something. We had to fight a civil war to make the country right. I think them having a civil war is better than World War 3. Fidel Castro has killed but we havent done shit with him. Its not our place to police the world.

Directly? As in 'stealing thier oil'? No.

To stabilize an unstable region important to every country on the face of the Earth because of it's oil? Yes.
Its not our place to police the world.

Who's place is it then? The last time I've checked, I don't see France running into Darfur! They could be doing that right now! We are fighting a global war on terror for them, the least they could do is stop the mess in Africa.

Why aren't you all up in thier asses about that?

Iraq is a lot worse off now than it was before, and we haven't even left yet. Just wait and see how really screwed up it gets then.

All we accomplished at this point was to create a few million new US loathing terrorists with fresh anger, and polarize (i.e. tear apart and terrorize) all the muslim people worldwide in the process. Such a brilliant, and well thought out plan that was.

Ah, the good ol US "peace loving war machine". Break it first then go in and "fix it", scoop up all the cash in the process. The way it's always been, why should it change anytime soon?

Almost forgot...actively manufacture and distribute weapons worldwide...that's always a good thing for all.

What a stellar example of how to behave...

    These still havent been answered.

And how credible is that? No one else mentions it. Even Bush said we havent found any.
