10C staff, you clearly need a server load balancer and ssl offloader to handle this type of an event. Very poor planning on IT's part here, but it's very common. If you need help with architecture for this type of event, let me know I work for the leader in the industry and would be glad to talk to you IT staff about what they can do to avoid frustrating club members...
Now to more important business, when is the site going to be up so I can get TICKETS!!!
This sucks. I had them in my cart, did everything I was asked, even had the transaction pending on my credit card, and now it's "sold out", and I won't be able to try for tickets on Friday because I'll be at work. Anyone want to help a brother out?
YES!!! FINALLY, after an hour of getting kicked off the site, busy server message etc...I finally got my Santa Barbara pair! One hour of me saying "please, please, please work!"
10c, maybe it would be a good idea to stagger the sale dates/times for each show a bit to keep the server from getting too much traffic?????
I got the e-mail saying my request has been processed... and the CC charge is pending..

keep trying, i went ahead and was able to put another pair of tix in my cart, and got thru to the page that says it went thru, and got the confirmation email that the order was received. bank statement doesn't show a 2nd charge yet

I just got four pairs of tickets off the site: Santa Barbara, LA nite 2, San Diego and Berkley
I got as far providing credit card info and then i got an error...
I kept trying, and i could't get past the check out point and the website kept crashing.
And now, they're sold out.
Very bad service and planning Ten Club.
