well kinda, yeah, actually....what do ya think drove him berserk? maybe constantly having their homes torn down so isrealis can build illegal settlements and then treat the palestinians as less than even dogs?

that's right...it's BOTH sides. Both sides have broken peace treaties throughout history. Palestinians have historically wanted to destroy israel and israel has felt it must flex it's might to show that it's legitimate. There is no death on either side that is justifiable. If israel gave in to every single demand do you really think that there would be this great peace that would break out and everyone would play nice?

If it wasn't a 'bulldozer' he used, but another vehicle, you guys wouldn't be able to compare his actions with those of Israel's.

Can you start to understand why so many security measures are taken in Israel? Whether some of them are right or wrong, there is a threat of attacks such as the one we just saw.

You mean the one attack in months which had 3 deaths? As opposed to the daily attacks from Israel on Palestine that causes hundreds of deaths? And yet Israelis are given full access to medical treatment, standard living conditions... and don't even make me have to mention checkpoints :rolleyes:

My point was that he did not do anything in the name of God and was not an Islamic extremist. Any other point you may make should be ignored just because of this.

The fact that it was a 'bulldozer' made it easy for people to draw parallels to IDF targeting and destroying specific homes in Gaza or West Bank.

Israelis do not randomly drive a vehicle through a random Palestinian neighborhoods and deliberately kill random people who have absolutely no ties to terrorist groups or anything related to the conflict.

If you're saying they don't pick which house to demolish by rolling dice, then sure, you're right. Otherwise, they still demolish hundreds of thousands of innocent homes ILLEGALLY. You simply can't justify that. Also, you can't not deliberately kill hundreds and thousands of people who have no ties to terrorists. It's simply irrational.

An Israeli gunmen (if that exists) will not go into a Mosque randomly and kill a dozen students there. However, that happened in March of this year I believe when an Arab living in Israel killed all those students at the seminary.

What kind of Israeli would want to risk his life (which the Palestinian did, as he died) when he can have F16's take care of his work for him? Welcome to the world of technology... unfortunately, Palestine has had limited access to it due to Israel's occupation of their land.

Do you even know what a checkpoint is? Have you actually seen the Palestinians who require medical care? You do know that Gaza's population has EXTREMELY poor living conditions, right?

Life is certainly more difficult for Palestinians because of Israel's actions in response to the conflict, however, Palestinians had ample opportunities throughout the last 50 years to build and create a society with solid living conditions, health care, education etc, just as the Israelis did.

It's funny, you act as though Israel is this miracle country that was built out of nothing but the people's will. Of course, you forget the billions and billions of dollars that come in from the US.

Racist colonies? If you actually go to Israel and see the people, there are so many different 'races.' People come from all over the world. In addition to that, the 20 percent of the country who are Arabs...

Israel is a Jewish state, but 'Judaism' is not a race.

that's plain stupid. you need to start realizing that after all this time, eventually Palestinians need to take responsibility for their own well being. It's not like conditions were so fantastic before checkpoints began. They have been plagued with horrible leadership and lack of foreign aid (or misuse of foreign aid). It's not Israel's fault they have made proper use of foreign aid and investment.
