  • The Israeli's get to do that all the time, and it's called work...

They not only get to live...they get paid for it!

    nice irony..

what do the israeli's get to do all the time? i dont get your point this time... A guy, who happens to be Palestinian, goes berzerk, steals a bulldozer, tips over a bus with innocent people in it, gets shot to death, and the Israelis fault?

Im not sure i understand your logic here. Please forgive me if i misread your post...

No. The Israelis often bulldoze innocent Palestinians' homes. Do you even know who Rachel Corrie is? Look her up.

    Your ignorance is forgiven.

    yeah..nice try...

perhaps try again.. this time with some honesty...

you want to equate an entire homestead (including inherited (as in passed down) history and lineage) with a few vehicles???!?

    allrighty then...

well kinda, yeah, actually....what do ya think drove him berserk? maybe constantly having their homes torn down so isrealis can build illegal settlements and then treat the palestinians as less than even dogs?

killing the guy won't solve anything. there will always be more like him when you're living in the situation that the Palestinians are living in. If you really want to stop attacks like that, go for the root of the problem.

    hint: It's not Palestine...

that's right...it's BOTH sides. Both sides have broken peace treaties throughout history. Palestinians have historically wanted to destroy israel and israel has felt it must flex it's might to show that it's legitimate. There is no death on either side that is justifiable. If israel gave in to every single demand do you really think that there would be this great peace that would break out and everyone would play nice?

If the violent and crazed extremist gave all the people he killed, as well as those injured Fair warning ahead of time that he was going to use his bulldozer on them,,,maybe, just maybe you can almost justify what he did to an extent.

but what happened was, an Islamic extremist went on a violent and murderous rampage in the name of God...

If it wasn't a 'bulldozer' he used, but another vehicle, you guys wouldn't be able to compare his actions with those of Israel's.

I just can't believe the sentiment on this board is 'they had it coming'

That's like saying the people who died in the Sept 11 attacks or any other
    terrorist attack 'had it coming.'

Can you start to understand why so many security measures are taken in Israel? Whether some of them are right or wrong, there is a threat of attacks such as the one we just saw.

That's a lie. He had a history of crime with no ties to any organization in Palestine.
If it wasn't a 'bulldozer' he used, but another vehicle, you guys wouldn't be able to compare his actions with those of Israel's.
So if he were to use a motorcycle for example, it would be worse than those actions of Israel (bulldozers and tanks)?

You mean the one attack in months which had 3 deaths? As opposed to the daily attacks from Israel on Palestine that causes hundreds of deaths? And yet Israelis are given full access to medical treatment, standard living conditions... and don't even make me have to mention checkpoints

I never said he had any ties to terrorist groups. That doesn't mean it wasn't an act of terrorism.

The fact that it was a 'bulldozer' made it easy for people to draw parallels to IDF targeting and destroying specific homes in Gaza or West Bank.

Israelis do not randomly drive a vehicle through a random Palestinian neighborhoods and deliberately kill random people who have absolutely no ties to terrorist groups or anything related to the conflict.

An Israeli gunmen (if that exists) will not go into a Mosque randomly and kill a dozen students there. However, that happened in March of this year I believe when an Arab living in Israel killed all those students at the seminary.

Israelis given full access to medical treatment? How about Israelis developed and built a society where medical treatment is readily available for everyone.

Life is certainly more difficult for Palestinians because of Israel's actions in response to the conflict, however, Palestinians had ample opportunities throughout the last 50 years to build and create a society with solid living conditions, health care, education etc, just as the Israelis did.

HAHAHAHAHA, this is just too much. You never even said the word terrorism in your earlier post... you said he was an "Islamic extremist". All of a sudden Islamic extremists=terrorists, am I right?
My point was that he did not do anything in the name of God and was not an Islamic extremist. Any other point you may make should be ignored just because of this.
The fact that it was a 'bulldozer' made it easy for people to draw parallels to IDF targeting and destroying specific homes in Gaza or West Bank.
    what's your point?
Israelis do not randomly drive a vehicle through a random Palestinian neighborhoods and deliberately kill random people who have absolutely no ties to terrorist groups or anything related to the conflict.
If you're saying they don't pick which house to demolish by rolling dice, then sure, you're right. Otherwise, they still demolish hundreds of thousands of innocent homes ILLEGALLY. You simply can't justify that. Also, you can't not deliberately kill hundreds and thousands of people who have no ties to terrorists. It's simply irrational.
An Israeli gunmen (if that exists) will not go into a Mosque randomly and kill a dozen students there. However, that happened in March of this year I believe when an Arab living in Israel killed all those students at the seminary.
What kind of Israeli would want to risk his life (which the Palestinian did, as he died) when he can have F16's take care of his work for him? Welcome to the world of technology... unfortunately, Palestine has had limited access to it due to Israel's occupation of their land.
Israelis given full access to medical treatment?
    Yes.
How about Israelis developed and built a society where medical treatment is readily available for everyone.
Yes, they built this society illegally.
And available for everyone? Are you that oblivious?
Do you even know what a checkpoint is? Have you actually seen the Palestinians who require medical care? You do know that Gaza's population has EXTREMELY poor living conditions, right?
Life is certainly more difficult for Palestinians because of Israel's actions in response to the conflict, however, Palestinians had ample opportunities throughout the last 50 years to build and create a society with solid living conditions, health care, education etc, just as the Israelis did.
    That's a lie.

It's funny, you act as though Israel is this miracle country that was built out of nothing but the people's will. Of course, you forget the billions and billions of dollars that come in from the US.

  • Israelis do not randomly drive a vehicle through a random Palestinian neighborhoods and deliberately kill random people who have absolutely no ties to terrorist groups or anything related to the conflict.

They do randomly drive through choice spots of land, or neighborhoods, and bulldoze homes at random...and shoot at little kids

The lines of terrorism and "who is terroising whom" are about as clear as mud.

One thing stands out is that an army is attacking civilians to support the development of racist colonies for only one type of people.

Racist colonies? If you actually go to Israel and see the people, there are so many different 'races.' People come from all over the world. In addition to that, the 20 percent of the country who are Arabs...

Israel is a Jewish state, but 'Judaism' is not a race.

    http://www.thestar.com/News/World/article/453215

The man who drove the bulldozer did scream 'God is Great'

"Palestine has had limited access to technology because Israel has occupied their land"...

that's plain stupid. you need to start realizing that after all this time, eventually Palestinians need to take responsibility for their own well being. It's not like conditions were so fantastic before checkpoints began. They have been plagued with horrible leadership and lack of foreign aid (or misuse of foreign aid). It's not Israel's fault they have made proper use of foreign aid and investment.

Glad to see that some on the pro-Palestine side still fall back on personal attacks as its first (and perhaps only) line of defense.

I dunno ... What's with everyone always commenting on people's lack of logic and such whenever this topic comes up? People can discuss Obama and myriad other controversial topics without calling each other stupid. Why not this topic?

    Jews only...

Sounds pretty racist to me. Nice multicultural settlements you're describing eh?... I guess if you're Jewish...it's multicultural.

Lots of people scream god is great....some hear voices from the invisible magic man himself....he says it's ok to murder people that oppose imperial might....

This is how they brainwash themselves into sleeping at night...
