Oh I see, well. I'll let you know, I worked with a guy from Quebec named Tony Gatinau for several months until his contract expired and we talked about Quebec quite a lot. We had good respectful discussions on the province of Quebec.
Another guy I work with overheard us and said "Fuck 'em, they want to seperate, fuck 'em. They can just blow up the border and drift out into the ocean..." and he went on basically insulting Tony.
I think "Another guy" is the guy you are describing.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. There's not enough real known facts about the North American Union to judge it good or bad, as long as they keep it in close door (i bet that's one of the topic of those bilderberg meeting), we can't really judge. Is it just an extended Nafta? Will it be like the EU? Is it only for commercial purpose (currency, natural ressources), or also for civil purpose (passport, nationality)? Anyway i just can't say, and with the current wall the USA vote to build, i don't think it's a step into a possible NAU... as i said in those other union thread, we'll see."L'homme est né libre, et partout il est dans les fers"

I've heard that the US has already sold parts of the land to Mexico to boost the NAU. The NAFTA super-highway is on the horizon and so on. The EU started as simply a free trade agreement but since has expanded into almost complete unity and it hasn't worked out all that well.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Let me say that from what i know, i'm not at all convinced it would be a good thing. But i just can't put a final judgment cause all i've heard or read is internet stuffs, i've heard no official statement about it. So far to me it sound just like an extended commercial free trade that only corporation (and mostly big one) will be profiting of. Normal citizens wouldn't see any advantage to this."L'homme est né libre, et partout il est dans les fers"

I don't fear the U.S. government and I'm not suggesting a pre-emptive strike. I'm simply saying that we need to remain autonomous and take caution about the NAU.
Canada should most certainly remain sovereign, as should the US. I feel uncomfortable about the NAU myself. We already have a good trade agreement so what more do they want? I'm unsure how it will affect my country and not sure if it will be better or worse. I wonder if this is how the Europeans felt in the beginning stages of the EU.
I also feel uncomfortable about the missile defense because I'm worried if we have this defense we will use our nukes.
Are you sure you're not afraid of the US government because I am? . "...believe in lies...to get by...it's divine...whoa...oh, you know what its like..."0 . "...believe in lies...to get by...it's divine...whoa...oh, you know what its like..."0

I think it depends on how you define fear. Last night I was laying down in bed, a few minutes away from a deep sleep and I heard "Bang!" a loud sound and my eyes popped open and I started calculating the cause. I realized after about 25 seconds someone had set a firecracker off near my window and I went back to sleep.
The above example, I don't consider a state of fear, but a state of awareness and alertness.
Fear, as an example would be the classic image of a woman standing ontop of a chair while a mouse torments her. That's what I think anyway.
If fear means being alert and cautious, then yea, I guess I am afraid.I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny.
