some troll posted this on the Ron Paul forums.
FUCKING FUNNY SHIT!

I know some of us may be down,
but all things considered, 10% in Iowa KICKS ASS.

DON'T GET DOWN.
We got 10% in a state that wants Ethanol subsidies and the return of Jesus H. Christ.

New Hampshire will be better

    There are more registered independents in Iowa than either major party. 38% of Iowans are registered independents so the difference between Iowa and New Hampshire should be negligible.

    Point taken, though.
    The real problem for Ron, is a LOT of those independents are voting Obama, and not for Ron, or ANY republican, for that matter.
    But, i think 10% was a pretty damn good number, all things considered.

    Although, again, according to entrance polls, Ron Paul got the majority of independent votes, so it could boost his numbers a few points in New Hampshire ... assuming they don't all go vote for Obama.

    Also, voter turnout is much higher in New Hampshire,
    so it's not as negligible as you indicate.

    RP wasn't expected to win in Iowa, due to the saturation of holy rollers. He is expected to do well NH.

    This was a good showing for Ron.

    Now Huckebilly......can see it now....he wins the republican nomination....the sheep will vote for him to help justify their beliefs in mythology....and Bam...we got another Dubya.

    It's a positive that Paul did manage to pull 10% in, but the reality of the situation is that Paul will not get the nomination. The best we can hope for is that he will bring attention to serious issues that the other candidates never mention like the Federal Reserve, the Gold Standard, our failed foreign policy, the errosion of our civil liberties, the reduction of federal spending and the reduction of the size of our federal government.

    Freakin CNN included Ron Paul in those that were "Slaughtered"...bastards. Tell you seems like CNN is getting more like fox everyday.

    I actualy like Obama THE MAN, but i think his positions on government are way off from from what is best for America. Socialized ANYTHING is awful policy. He is atleast moderate on this, unlike Mrs. Socialize The World Clinton, but it is still bad policy. But if we are going to give things away, lets do it in moderation, like Obama says: "The American people i know are a self reliant people. But that doesn't mean we should be afraid to ask the government for just A LITTLE help."

    Rudy has put little effort into these early states. He's counting on a big finish. What makes this a horrible strategy is that now his campaign is DARK for at least another 2 weeks. The talking heads will be talking about Iowa and NH and there will be no mention of him. Out of sight...out of mind.

    I was reading that CNN recently quoted Michael Moore as saying the democrats are going to throw the election by voting for Obama.

    I fear no amount of serious change at all will come about with Obama.

    He'll just talk his way through it by throwing out roses to the crowd...it isn't bush, but it's the same car...fresh coat of paint imo...

    Disagree....100% different than Bush....Obama worked for what he has, he's a minority, he can actually communicate. He'd be good for this country......better than all but maybe one or two candidates that won't be elected...RP and DK.

    Rudy is done. He is hedging all his bets on Super Tuesday. With a no show in Iowa and what looks to be a bad showing in New Hampshire and probably South Carolina, by the time Super Tuesday roles around all of those undecided voters will have probably picked a candidate who is in the lead.
