    Wallstreet is scared shitless.
Erin Brunett did a piece on CNBC the other day where she couldn't stop laughing, with the title under her "Wallstreet Warns: Dont Commit Huckacide" ... she kept giggling, and said the street was worried that his economic policies would be disastrous for the country.

I'm not sure how much traction the guy really has outside of the breadbasket. The zealots are everywhere, but i think the moderates on either coast will probably put him down a peg or two in those primaries.

it's all moot anyway, since the next president will be a democrat.

Fair Tax "The Truth" (IE the rebuttal book) will be out Feb 12th for people to read. Then again, they won't read that either.

God Forbid people actually get a chance to choose how they pay tax, when they pay tax and know exactly what they are paying in tax.... yeah that's disastrous. Tax Accountants might actually have to find work investing money instead of finding out how to keep it away from the Government.

Get away from the Super Moral Conservative Baptist preacher deal and he might not be so bad.
My Girlfriend said to me..."How many guitars do you need?" and I replied...."How many pairs of shoes do you need?" She got really quiet.

yes....public censorship is the way to go

Might as well toss in a dash of extra surveillance to make sure the censorship is working.

    Ah the irony :D;)
Progress is not made by everyone joining some new fad,
and reveling in it's loyalty. It's made by forming coalitions
over specific principles, goals, and policies.

i'm not interested in censorship, not at all. i welcome the 467 paul threads, if only to see you all get each other off, over and over again.

no, it would still be a big snore, since redundancy tends to make me drowsy.

I agree. If Huckabee wins the Republican nomination the Dems will win the general election, unless Hillary wins the nomination. The Republican party is too fragmented at this point and that is why I think McCain has the best chance of winning the nomination. Huckabee is too Jesusy for the more moderate wing of the party. Rudy is too liberal for the religious wing. Romney looks too much like a used car salesman for anyone to trust. McCain sort of falls somewhere in the middle.

I disagree. McCain is just Bush without all the Jesus talk. Ron Paul is still the best canidate in the lot, on both sides of the aisle. Unfortunetly he is not going to win the nomination. So now I have to hope that Bloomberg runs as an independent, which probably will not happen. In that case I will probably vote for Obama, unless the Libertarian party runs a decent candidate.

  • Agreed.
    Ron Paul = 100% change.
    Obama = 25% change.

Even 25% is better than bush which was 100 in the OTHER direction.

I think Obama will do a lot to heal this country, SOCIALY, and possibly to unite it politicaly.

Unfotunately, i don't think he will do DICK to address the fundamental problems with our economy. In truth, i don't think he understands the economy at all. And for me, that is a real problem.

    :(

    yes. i agree:

    predictions and stuff:
Rudy has no chance. He's a social liberal trying to win a republican nomination. And the 9/11 shit is starting to annoy voters (finally!).

Romney will stick around and might even win, since he's basically the Republican John Kerry/Al Gore : A stiff, plastic, fake politician who tries not to offend anyone. That might get him the nomination but not the presidency.

    Clinton is done.

McCain might make a comeback. I like him and think he's relatively honest, I just think he's on the wrong side of too many issues.

Edwards isn't out of it yet. He'll hang with Obama.

you do that disturbingly well. ;)

hey, i'm not above a bit of voyeurism, in the name of democracy.

I beg to differ, he's as close as they get. Radical is what we have now...not the past.

So many people must really hate the constitution, founding principles, and sound economics...fuck it's scary to witness.

I think all of the campaigns on the Republican side are starving for cash, except for Ron Paul's campaign.

    Obama/Paul ticket for 08!

RP wasn't expected to win in Iowa, due to the saturation of holy rollers. He is expected to do well NH.

Iowa is a second rate state that represents very little of the US opinion is what I'm hearing.

    should be interesting to see.

And dont forget, Iowa is full of farmers that dont like the fact that Ron Paul is highly anti-ethanol subsidies, plus he didnt spend all that much time/energy there...and he still got 10%.
