Better get rid of the second link, haha. It's too filthy.
Peter Cook. My favourite comedian.

Yes, that is pathetic. lolbut that's men for ya, lol, and I can say whatever I want back to them also. But if I were to be all uptight and say 'what do you mean you got 'the woman' to make your dinner for you?' well I'd be a bit of a bollox really... instead I reply something like 'oh yeh, wait til the christmas party and say it in front of her then... we all know who wears the trousers in your house'.
Yes, that is pathetic about the haircut and that IS how far things are going... and THAT'S what I want to put an end to... things going further than they need. This is why there are so many rich lawyers... who do ya think MAKE the laws? The Astoria??? Orgazmic!

Over here in the land of the free, home of the most handguns in the world...not many people are allowed to touch another's child. When Holden is in the daycare at my gym, no one can help him in the bathroom. No touchie.

I think the problem is we've gone way too far trying not to offend people that we are actually offending others while doing so. For instance when Wal-Mart banned it's employees from saying Merry Christmas to customers because the customers may be Jewish or of another faith; the employees were told to say happy holidays however by doing so Wal-Mart offended some Catholics and Christians.
The bottom line is NOT everyone gets offended by stereotypes, statements or jokes made about their own race, religion or whatever. Some people have a great sense of humor while others do not. People are different and react differently. We can't make everyone happy. As long as we don't go too far there is no reason we shouldn't be able to joke. Of course the 'too far' will always be debatable."...believe in lies...to get by...it's divine...whoa...oh, you know what its like..."0 -

don't be stupid helen. i know you're not. there's this whole thing about touching kids. teachers(especially male teachers) can't touch children to comfort them because who knows what the intention is. tis ridiculous. any parent, or compassionate person knows children need contact to feel safe. we aren't all perverts copping a feel.hear my name

I would hate to think people couldn't say what they want to me for fear of offending. Don't get me started on the christmas thing  It's always been a magical time of the year and these days it's mostly about the kids... what's wrong with that? Try explaining to a kid why they can't get a pressie for Christmas?
Give the kid a pressie whenever you feel like it. Some dude in a red suit doesn't need to bring it. Have the Forest Fairy bring it or the Magical Tuesday Morning Mouse.Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome

Seriously, do you really think that because there's one jehovah's witness kid in a class of say 20 Catholics/Christians that the other 19 should have to give up on one of the best times of the year for them? The Astoria??? Orgazmic!

Heineken Helen wrote:well that's true of course... but don't tell me that I can't give my kid a gift at this one time of the year just cos it's something YOU don't believe in. If you feel bad for your kid being left out, let them be involved. It's easy for a kid to be involved in christmas without having to know there's anything religious about it at all.

but that's what I'm saying... it IS all commercial.... but it's beautiful. You could go through manys a christmas without any religious reference at all... so why the hell am I gonna feel bad for giving my kid a pressie... and why should MY kid feel bad for GETTING one?
I'm all for the opinion that when anyone comes to my country, they come here cos they wanna BE here and not in their own home with a different climate. This is the reason I won't go to ANY country where I cannot respect or agree to their customs. I'm not going to tell them they're wrong, it's just not for me. They just wanna get rid of all customs and traditions altogether helping to lead the world towards globalisation. Traditions evolve along with us... but we shouldn't allow them to disappear cos some groups don't agree with them... or cos they're not their own customs. The Astoria??? Orgazmic!

Not sure what you're saying. Are you trying to give a Muslim kid a Christmas pressie?Yep, that's exactly what I'm talking about, lol. What I'm saying is people use the kids in these arguments ALL the time... oh this kid feels left out... this kid doens't do things that way so we can't do it that way. Fact is... it's ALL adults fucking it up for the kids. I hate hearing this kids arguments... like 'oh little Jehovah's parents can't (or won't) give him a present... so nobody's allowed give their kid a pressie' gimme a bloody break!
