    I believe they were $30 at the shows. I still don't see $40 being an issue..I got mine! Thanks for the heads up.

    no thanks...i can wear an $85 hoodie, but i refuse to buy a $40 ($50) lighter. I'd planned on buying one till I saw the price, so I'm sure there will be plenty to go around to those who think it's worth it.

    i really love the way they look. i just LOVE that image, period. that said, i have zero use for a zippo lighter. even for candles, just not practical....i have a bunch of the long neck lighters for those, far better. so as beautiful a lighter as it may be, i just can't see me buying one. especially for $40! watch, i eventually get one...hahaha........but yea, since i don't smoke, what would i do with it? just leave it on a shelf? i think *practical* items should be used....

    No!!! The fact I don't smoke makes $40 ok, smokers have to give up 7 or 8 packs of smokes if they buy this!!!

    I am a smoker and I can't justify buying it. Besides I have a zippo already, had it for 10years, I see no need in replacing it.
