I went and put one in my cart. I thought about it but it's just too much. If it was the $30 that they were at the shows, and a REASONABLE shipping charge then I would have done it. But an extra $10, and then $10.50 for shipping! I mean come one. How on earth can they justify $10.50 to ship it. Priority mail anywhere in the country would be $4.75, and you know it won't ship priority mail.
Then I thought about getting some other stuff like a couple of shirts to help save on shipping, but guess what? The $10.50 is a special shipping charge and you can't order anything else with it.
I'm all for cool collectibles, but that was just too crazy for me. Oh. I removed it from my cart in case it sells out quickly and people who do really want it for that price can get it.0 -

Yeah 40 for a zippo is a bit too much
what do pearl jam think we are? rich?I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.0 -
i dont smoke but i wanted one. but i agree, the price for something that will sit on a shelf is way too high. shipping is a joke. i could almost justify the extra 10 bucks on the lighter, but 10.50 for shipping? nah. i'll leave them for someone who will actually use it.
and..........nice way to post on the day of the sale. more BS, IMO.
have a nice day 10cPeace, Love.

$40 + shipping is a lot but maybe it will deter flippers somewhat...uʍop ǝpısdn ǝɹ,ǝʍ 'punoɹ ʎɐʍ ɹǝɥʇo ǝɥʇ ןןɐ s,ʇı0

I don't know about the extra $10.00 on the actual price, but $10.50 shipping is justifiable .. Think about it, the posters cost us $7.50 in shipping, and you know the actual cost is somewhere between $3-4 at the post office.. So once you figure that roughly $4.50 is the actual cost of mailing your Zippo, the additional $6.00 goes to the people that 10C employs, to actually fill the orders, and other administrative cost like office/warehouse space, and maintaining a web site and such.. Think about it..0

I don't know what they are thinking either
alright alright, i see your point.
I've spent a good chunk on them but 10 bucks for shipping? it doesn't even weight a pound.
To each their own though, still looks like a cool lighterI just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.0 -
i just got one. Here in my country, any version of a zippo lighter cost 50 bucks around. So then, is a good price for me...even if i don't smoke0

I won't bitch and moan.
But I will just save my money for 6 MSG beers.
