I don't like either candidate at all.
Both parties are fucked up. There needs to be more strength in the Green party or something.

    Strength is in numbers. If you want to support the Green party then do so. People have to be willing to support things when they are small or less heard of if they want to see them ever gain any ground.

    I like a lot of Obama's views so far. If some of the good old boys down South don't mind seeing a black President, then I really like my chances of Obama being my President. The electoral vote in the Northeast, Mid-West and Pacific states won't be enough. He has to win some of the South.

    He wants an end to the war and have the troops home in the best way possible. He also reduce nuclear facilities here in the U.S. to encourage other nations to reduce theirs as well. He wants a better more peaceful world. :)

    An end to the war? A more peaceful world? How can someone who wants an end to the war keep mercenary armies present in the occupied country? How can someone who "wants a better more peaceful world" fully support Israel, who is currently brutally occupying Palestine?

    I'm from the South and I'm a democrat (I served as state president of the Alabama Young Democrats from 2002-2004), but Obama is way too far to the left for me. It has nothing to do with his skin color for me, but rather his politics and the bad characters that he has surrounded himself with over the years.

    What exactly are you basing this on? Because of all the things I can complain about with Obama, being too far to the left ain't one of them.

    He's too far to the left for my taste on most issues. I'm a moderate-centrist Democrat. I feel like he's too out of touch with mainstream America. For true hardcore liberals, he certainly appeals 100%. For me, I prefer a tough macho Democrat like Jim Webb from Virginia or a southern trial lawyer Democrat like John Edwards. I am pro-Universal healthcare, but Obama ironically isn't. Edwards (who I was supporting) and Clinton were the true, pro-Universal healthcare Democrats.

    What stances of Jim Webb's and even Edwards or Clinton do you prefer that you also don't see in Obama? ...other than healthcare, of course as you mentioned....which ironically enough, Obama is to the right of on that particular issue.
