A little bit earlier this evening, i received an extroadinarily gracious call from Senator McCain.......

and the obama supporters cheered. not booed. cheered. I was extremely proud to see that.

    I noticed that. That really underscored the difference between the tone of these two campaigns.

    Did you notice that during McCains speech, he mentioned obama, and his supporters booed? McCain asked them to stop. Obama didn't have to ask his supporters to stop. They never started.

    back on topic, after seeing what happened with those idiots in Az; i was worried that about boos in Chicago. I was happy there werent any. Note to Palin: The real America was out in Grant Park, a diverse, patriotic, and classy crowd.

    NO it didn't...they cheered because McCain was calling Obama to concede...it was about McCain having to tell Obama congrats, nothing to do with the crowd cheering McCain...anyhow, that's what I think.

    I even ended up voting for Obama despite our differences...but I don't feel good about my vote at all really.

    I think there are plenty of tears going around today...I'd also venture to guess that th emajority of the tears of joy are fake...like Jesse Jackson...staged tears. Pretty pathetic.

    Very sad that McCain's concession speech was by far the best and classiest of his entire campaign. The story will come out in the next few years, how McCain's campaign was taken over by the GOP. Palin was forced on him. The pallin around with terrorists shit, he didn't want that

    See Cincy i don't see it just stopping here. He's in, but it's still up to us to demand that he follows through with his promises. We can't be complacent and just sit back and moan in 2 years if things have not improved (not saying that you would ever do that). We have to fight as hard as we did to get him elected to make sure that our voices are not ignored.

    We can't stop people like that. We've just got to keep real to ourselves and keep fighting for what we believe in and let the rest of them get on with it.
