"That One"

It was his plan that was actually "more revolutionary," in his opinion. He has a college degree in Classical Literature (Latin & Greek) as well as one in Psychology. This is not an uninformed man.
Actually I'm more educated than your friend because I have a higher education and more degrees than he does so you should listen to me. And I'll let you in on a little secret. Obama's health care plan is better.0 -
Perhaps this has already been discussed in another thread, but McCain voted against establishing Martin Luther King Day as a federal holiday, right? The "that one" remark may not have been intended to be racist, but it makes ya think....0

As far as assumptions, you should check your own at the door.
As stated.
Democrats aren't looking for excuses. The election isn't over yet and last time I looked...Our man is ahead.
Once again this is just a bunch of headache jibberish spit out by Right Wing Conservatives who are reaching for these ridiculous claims as a way of getting out of discussion about how utterly aweful their candidate is performing.
actually, the "original thought" should be the one that if obama doesn't win, it's because everyone that didn't vote for him is a racist. i've seen that comment thrown around here for quite a while now, and i've replied to it a few times.
and what the fuck? what assumption did i make that i should check at the door? and keep on "assuming" i'm voting "R" across the board when election time comes up. actually, is there a possibility that you could point out to me where i said who i was voting for in this election? could you please? as i recall, the only thing i've said about this election and who i'm voting for is "i haven't made up my mind yet and i may choose not to vote for anyone this time around." and i see you're canadian, but from reading all your posts in this forum, if i had to take a guess how you'd vote...well, i don't think it'd be very hard to figure it out.
quote all the polls you want, i don't pay attention to them. to me, the only one that matters is the one that the entire country votes on, not select groups weeks before an election.
the only thing i originally replied to in this thread was to say i didn't agree with the fact that if mccain won, the country was racist. you want to talk about that, fine. if you want to continue your little diatribe, i'll just make my exit now."Have you ever.........pooped a balloon?"

Fair enough.
I've just heard this "Democrats already trying to make excuses" bullshit way too many times in the last 24 hours and find it quite idiotic.
Either way...
Not voting at all in this election would be tragic.
I'm a Dual Citizen of both the USA and Canada. I don't know if you know this...but by voting in This US election I essentially lose my right to vote in future Canadian elections although it is the country that I live in.
I'm voting anyway. This is the most important election of my lifetime.0 -

cool beans. you've heard the same thing a lot, so have i. and no, i had no idea you were a dual citizen. so there's an assumption on my part. my bad.
i keep saying to myself that nothing from any candidate is appealing to me and i probably won't vote, but i have a feeling i'll end up in line on election day. how i'm voting though probably won't be decided until i go to flip one of the switches."Have you ever.........pooped a balloon?"

This disgusted me!
I don't care WHY he said it or HOW he meant it...it was completely unpresidential and disrespectful, and I would feel the same way had Obama said it. I'm just really disappointed that this kind of comment was a part of a Presidential debate:("I'm not present, I'm a drug that makes you dream"0
