Fight Anti-arab Racism

We must not turn a blind eye to the racism that perpetuates the American war machine. We must see that the people of the Middle East are not the "primitive savages" that the White House and the media portray them as. We must recognize that we have a greater connection with the working people of Iraq than we do to the old money millionaires and billionaires that instigate and perpetuate these imperialist wars. We need to join arms with the Arabs and other oppressed minorities and fight to smash racism if we are ever going to smash imperialism and end the wars that take so many of our friends and families.

A Flier my son brought home from school today.

    We should fight against racism against Arabs. We should fight all racism. I don't understand why this needs to be specified. But I guess I fight against any racism is important.

    Obviously. And I had lots of problems with what was said in the flier. I just wasn't aiming to start a debate.

    If you look at my post though you'll see it was edited. I took out the more confrontational part but could always put it back in if that would make you feel better, because I see from your other posts how much you like confrontation.

    You mean Braves fan? Well, for a long time it would have made me sad. Not this year.

    The reason I didn't post anything confrontational was because I wasn't sure what the original poster thought about the flier.

    But when they stop blowing each other up because 1 believes in another chapter of the same book, or stop kidnapping fuckin school techers, or stop killing ppl aiming to better thier country, or stop killing little christian girls to avenge muslims,.....only then will the word "savage" not describe them IMO.

    Say I'm generalizing all you want, but show me some good "muslims" or "arabs" are doing. Please show me.

    He said the kid brought it home from school. He did not say the school distributed it.

    No doubt. Just this week alone I've brought home two fliers pretaining to different religious events, and two others that hand to do with some bands performing at some club.
