Normally, i keep my drawings to myself, but i thought this was pretty cool to have a place dedicated so here goes....

i'm not that creative, so its just my fav people, most from 10 years ago when i was 16......

    strange thing is, i have more drawing of eddie than any other piece. the only catch is I cannot finish them. I have about 5 others in addition, same thing. not a single completed one, since 1993....dont know why. :(

    cool! actually the 2nd to last one you posted, the unfinished one of ed? i sorta like it as is, has a more abstracted feel to it!

    these are the tat ideas i had....i also was thinking about BLACK - using the calligraphy title in the other link. i still like the idea of black - it means alot of things to me. You have a great memory, that was ages ago we talked about it!!! :D

    the flowers on the bottom, did you do those with watercolor? very nice stuff

    Thanks!! pastels and of course pencil. i also have a tendency to do half pencil, half pastel. i like the way pencil gives pastel a silvery tint when used together. i didnt use much pencil on gavin, except around the nose and eyes. the others have alot of pencil. i was going to make the one of eddie my first portrait 100% pastel, and then the other one in just pencil. i think when i get them finished it will make a nice duo. when....he he

    cool! i've played around with watercolor, but yeah it's a challenge to control it...i need to keep practicing with it for sure.

    all the ones i posted on this page, and most of the others i've done are all color pencil (the stargazer had pen and ink)

    oh i know how that is, it's so aggravating! it's hard to get back into the vibe of a piece afterwards, at least that's how it is for me....when you do it at the moment you're in that particular headspace.

    maybe pick one that you really wanna finish, and set aside an evening which you devote to it. see how that goes :)

    i too have a similar problem. put the pieces away for a few hours, days, whatever. then look at one of them (looking at more than one can get overwhelming) and put on some music that gets you rockin. work on that one piece.

    :) I'm not so good at art, but I really enjoy it. Problem is I rarely finish anything!!!! I always feel guilty, like I should be doing something else, but I'm about to start a new artwork tonight! I'm going to make a sculputure out of rolled up newspaper, ever seen van gogh's sorrow (I think that is waht it is called)? It is a drawing of a woman sitting with her head on her knees. Well I am going to attempt to do a life size version of that. will proabably take a few months (that is if I end up finishing it!!!). I did a similar life size sculpture the same way when I was in highschool.

    I've noticed a lot of people on here use photo bucket. Is that free? if so how do I join? If I can figure it out I will post a picture of what I am talking about.
